Off the cuff, these are some of my all-time worse songs...

Deep Blue Something "Breakfast At Tiffany's"

Babybird "You're Gorgeous"

Bryan Adams "Everything I Do (I Do It For You)"

Terrovision "Taquila"

Robbie Williams "Rock DJ"

U2 "The Sweetest Thing"

Take That "Babe" (Terrible song and Mark Owen can't sing!)

Inner Circle "Sweat La La La Long"

Steps "Tragedy"

Ultravox "Vienna" (this may not prove popular with some of you!)

Also, that post-punk track from around 79/80 that goes "Is she really going out with him" also grates on me no end!

VIENNA? ....:angry: ......... :lol:

ok it was very poseurish, pompous even, but its still a fantastic pop record which captured the mood at the time. it wouldnt do well today.

joe jackson did 'is she really going out with him'.

Why is that Joe Jackson track on every punk and new wave compilation when it doesn't fit at all?

It is really abysmal!

Well done for pointing that one out Scotty.

I heard Vienna only a few hours before choosing my nominations so would be ommited if I gave this more thought, but I just really can't stand it!

Not retro - but Nickleback's Rockstar is up there.

Another oldie to consider: That Bring Me Edleweiss thing from '89?

Having given this some more thought I have unfortunately remembered the following, why you may ask...well simply they are soooooo bad that once heard never forgotten. :lol:

Russ Abbot - Atmosphere

Alessi - Oh Lori

Floaters - Float on

Tony Orlando & Dawn - Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree,..... Knock Three times, .....plus any other drivel they sang

I think Nickelback should be shot, but are horrible and offensive. "How You Remind Me" was toture aswell.

Roxette - I Wish I Could Fly - something about this track really grates on me

No Way :lol: I love that but then again I love all their songs ^_^

For me it would be Robbie Williams Angels :mellow: I think its way too overplayed & overrated.

Ebony & Ivory - Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder - awful!

Having thought about this:

-> Anything from Boyzone.

-> Anything from B*Witched.

-> Anything from Westlife.

-> Anything from the Spice Girls (except Viva Forever).

-> Anything from Steps.
