Just got an email back from Fascination -

We’re looking at different ways of releasing Memory of You – we all love the track, as do the band themselves. I am confident it will be released in a high-quality format at some point.

The third single will be confirmed this week I believe…and yes – there will be one!! Stay tuned!

So with regards to MoY- I have a feeling we might get a Deluxe edition or something like that.

But yay for a 3rd single, I didn't expect one at all! :cheer:

Now lets hope they release Bow Wow or Untouchable!

EDIT:

Announced today-

The next Girls Aloud single!

It’s been an incredible week for Cheryl, Sarah, Nadine, Nicola and Kimberley as they picked up their first ever BRIT for Best Single no less, which came directly from you guys and your votes. They also sang at the ceremony for the first time and made sure it was a performance to remember.

So, it seems like today would be a good day to announce the next incredible single to be taken from the #1 album Out of Control.

Ladies and gents, prepare to get excited for ‘UNTOUCHABLE’! Yes, as soon as the album was released, it became clear this was destined to become a fan favourite and now it’s going to be the girls’ third single from Out of Control and their 21st single ever!

Released on 27th April, the single will coincide with their upcoming tour!

Stay tuned for more details!

yey on 3rd single! and Yey that we will get a HQ version of Memory Of You somehow, even though I've already bought 2 editions of OOC

YAY best news of the week !

f*** the top10 record, and c'mon decent promotion this time !!!!! :cheer:

My top choices would be :

1. Revolution in the head

2. Miss you bow wow

3. Love is the key (remixed version)

4. Roller back the rivers in time

5. Untouchable

6. Love is pain

Hopefully it's one of the top3 though, they need a uptembo/dancing song ^_^

If it's 'Revolution In The Head' I will NOT be happy.

I want 'Rolling Back The Rivers In Time', 'Miss You Bow Wow' or as a last resort, 'Love Is The Key'. I'm very happy about a 3rd release though :cheer:

Yay for thrid single and everything but seriously why release Memory Of You when the album has the likes of Love Is The Key and Rolling Back The Rivers?

They're not saying they're gonna release it as a single

They say it will be released one day, most probably in Greatest Hits bonuses or single proper b-side.

Just listened back to the album, and I think Fix me up would be a killer of a single really !! Would be a radio super hit, and it has a huge growing power !
People who say 'Revolotion In the Head', 'Love is the Key' or 'Fix Me Up' are being ridiculous!!! They would FLOP!!!

And you are ridiculous for stating that. "Fix me up" is "Can't speak French" part 2. Extremely radio friendly and people would sing along it all day long. Same with "Love is the key".

Hmmm i was just thinking, could they release a double A-side say Fix me up/Memory of you and get both in the top ten?

Fix me up would climb itunes as its already available, all physical sales would count to fix me up so i reckon that would defo get top ten.

But then MOY would be like a brand new track, as soon as it became digitally available, it would probably make top 5 on itunes. If they could get on dancing on ice the sunday before release and sing both songs like leona did with her doubleA. There is a good chance they could get both songs top 10.

i would like the next single to be either Turn To Stone or Love Is Pain as they are my favorites.

"Fix Me Up" is easily one of the worst on the album. So how would that make a good single?

I'm a big fan of "Live in the Country" & "Revoloution in the Head" and I know they'll make horrible single choices.

That's what I like about OOC though, different people, prefer different songs...

I'd personally hate "Rolling Back the Rivers in Time", "Love is the Key" & "Love is Pain" as singles, but I know quite alot of other GA fans like these songs, and some "not as big" fans like them too... so they could do well for them! 'RBTRIT' would be the 'CSF' of this era though, as it's just TOO safe. They're safe now, they can experiment, so why not give 'Untouchable' or 'Miss You Bow Wow' a release? They are totally different from anything else they've released before and they seem to be generally liked, by people who have the album...

So I'm routing for either 'Untouchable' or 'Miss You Bow Wow' :cheer:

Wow, is this really true?!

It would be amazing to get a third single to boost album sales!

was just listening to Fix Me Up.....if they cut the beginning line, and with a big radio edit... it'd be pretty good

still think Miss You Bow Wow with a big promotion calendar would go top 3

Fix me up is quite weak, and is so not CSF part 2! CSF is good! Love is the Key is the best choice, catchy likeable, and has the smart lyrics they are known for. Some of the others sound great but are lyrically repetitive/poor (e.g. turn to stone or love is pain). Miss you bow wow would be quite off the wall and is good, but i'd like untouchable to stay as the 6minute epic it is, rather than a single cut which detracts from the song :)

I'd probably be happy with any songs apart from -

Live In The Country

Fix Me Up

We Wanna Party

Turn 2 Stone

any of the other 6 I'd be pretty happy with

Love is the Key is the best choice, catchy likeable, and has the smart lyrics they are known for

Someone in agreement with me :w00t:
