February 14, 200916 yr "Not attractive", "no personality", ... everyone's entitled to his own opinion I guess, so good for you if you don't like her in the slightest. But please, accept the fact that other people (including me) think she's the greatest member of the band, with the best look and personality and stage abilities, and don't comment back everytime we express our opinion. Thanks :)
February 14, 200916 yr Exactly. The media have only started to lick her ass because of Cole cheating on her. And then it's all, "brave Cheryl carries on with the show!". If you take -for example- FHM's sexiest women, Cheryl has always ranked very high (always in the top10 since 2002, peaked at #2) while the other girls have always ranked faaar behind. And even if it's supposed to be based on their look only, it's always linked to people's popularity at that time. And she's always been ahead of the other girls in any kind of polls (not talking about fan polls). So yes, I think she has always been more popular than the other girls in the public eye ^_^

February 14, 200916 yr I personally think (not meaning this to sound negative), that initially Cheryl became the most famous member of the group due to the notorious nature of the nightclub incident near the start of their career, since then it's fair to say she's been slightly more in the public eye than the others.
February 14, 200916 yr As for the solo career thing, I think by now most people know the names of each girl and can identify them, so I think some of them could have at least a briefly successful solo career if they decided to. Cheryl would obviously stand the best chance, being the most media savvy member of the group. Oh yeah, I think each member is known individually but I don't think we're as welcoming to band members going solo now. I don't think anything like Destiny's Child, Spice Girls or Take That will happen again, where most members could have a bit of solo success. Mutya didn't exactly work out past a single or two, but I suppose she wasn't as big in the media as Cheryl, Nadine or even Sarah despite being seen as the best Sugababe. I think that, while Cheryl is easily the biggest name of the lot, she'd be heavily criticised for going solo. Victoria ended up being the biggest 'celeb' after the Spice Girls because of her marriage (much like Cheryl would) but because of her questionable singing ability (as much as I love her) she was trashed by everyone for even trying so she quickly gave that up. I think Cheryl would be the same. I reckon the rest of the girls would have a Mutya sort of solo career, they may have better voices but I don't think people care about them as much. I don't think any of them would attempt a solo career anyway. I know it seems weird, but I don't think any of the girls have enough passion for music to carry on past the band. Kimberley (and I guess, Sarah) would go down the acting route, Cheryl could carry on with X Factor and being a celeb (yes, that's a job now) and I think the other two would be happy to have a more private life. (though I'm sure Nadine would still be a bit of a public figure)
February 14, 200916 yr ugh I cant stand Cheryl. Looking forward to Nadine's solo career, and err Nicola too

An album with more uptempo's would have done far better. as for this news  If the albums are anything like OOC in content then i shall be bitterly disappointed. Tangled Up in content would be epic
February 14, 200916 yr LOL, i just knew you'd be overjoyed Phil. I will agree with you though that TU beats the crap out of Out Of Control.
February 14, 200916 yr The attention has actually put her to the forefront of the groups media coverage since her arrest in 2003 and her subsiquent feuds with Lilly and Charlotte.
