You are most definatly in the minority with that opinion of the album. By saying they need to go away, I take it you are not a fan, so why would you bother downloading their new album the very day it leaked? Seems a bit odd. I would never be that eager to hear an album by a band I thought should go away :lol:

 

On the contrary, i was a big fan of U2 in their prime; i even stuck with it during the mediocre "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" period. I wanted to see if they had really let themselves go for good with this album, and they have, it saddens me to say it, but theyre over.

I think you have missed the point. Would you download an album from a artist you don't like? And if you did would you expect to like it? Probably not, no.
No but at least I gave it a try to see if I did like it... (Like I did with Coldplay and Bloc's most recent offering's)

sure U2's album will make the year end Top 20 for 2009....anticipation is fairly high

granted the lead single does take some getting into though....
