Nicola:

"If I’m really honest, we haven't spoken to Nadine since we did the Coldplay gig at Wembley in September," admits the 24-year-old singer. "I talked to the other girls about it on Monday and no, none of us have heard from her. But there's no feud."

I wont take any heed of any of the stories until something is confirmed as the nadine stories are ongoing the whole time. The press seem to want to build an image that nadine doesnt get on with the other girls which could be damaging for her solo career.

I only quoted Nicola's words, i don't see any reason why this isn't a true. If Nadine didn't talk with others since September it's sign that she doesn't like rest of the GA, and girls doesn't like Nadine.

Oooh can't they just shut up and release an album

its not looking good! cheryl has done far better than anyone expected and has worldwide success, nadine wants a solo career!

cheryl is likely to do US X Factor.

Nadine seems to be getting bad press, she hasnt had a great start?

I just dont see a Girls Aloud album now, deal or no deal a second Cheryl album I do see...

Why does that mean there won't be a GA album now? Cheryl hasn't even finished her stuff yet.. people are just so negative.
All I can think is I've been here before with the Spicey ladies. :( 2011 is too long to wait! It's looking pretty obvious 2010 is out the window unless something starts by the summer.
I have a feeling i know what will happen. They will all do there own thing for a few years until there success goes down hill and they will have no choice but to go back into the studio to record a new Girls Aloud Album

Kim was in LA the last few days to record a documentary about jeans (...), she tweeted via her label account, but apparently a meeting with Nadine wasn't the plan... :(

If even Kimba doesn't see Nadine, that's a bad sign. Oh well, Nadine gets on my nerves now anyway.

Girl's Alone

29th July, 2010

Gordan Smart's Bizzare

GIRLS ALOUD are definitely getting back together next year - but not all of them. The fantastic five will be slimmed down to a fabulous four as NADINE COYLE will have no part in the reunion.

SARAH HARDING, NICOLA ROBERTS, KIMBERLEY WALSH and CHERYL COLE have begun sketching ideas for their comeback - but their Northern Irish bandmate does not figure in their plans. The quartet have decided to regroup without her as they collectively feel they have all grown apart from her.

A source said: "It's been a painful decision for Sarah, Nicola, Kimberley and Cheryl but they have decided that the future of Girls Aloud lies without Nadine. They've all been on a roller-coaster ride since 2002 and have just grown apart from Nadine. Relations with her had been strained within the camp for a while."

"Disputes began cropping up towards the final days of the band before they went on a hiatus. The four remaining girls want to return on their own terms - and avoiding any squabbles is a high priority. That's why they have decided to go on without Nadine."

The chart-conquering girl band formed in 2002 after coming together on ITV1 reality show Popstars: The Rivals. They decided to take a break in 2009 after a busy seven years in action. Girls Aloud have released 21 singles, with four of them topping the charts. They also issued five studio albums.

Since going their separate ways, Scouser Nicola has launched a successful range of cosmetics, Cheryl has topped the charts as a solo star and is an X Factor judge, Sarah has opened a nightclub and Kimberley has moved into TV presenting.

Nadine strained relations in the band by moving to America in 2006 after embarking on a relationship with Desperate Housewives star JESSE METCALFE. She has remained there ever since and has opened her own bar near Los Angeles called Nadine's Irish Mist. Further cracks appeared when she refused to take part in the girls' 2008 TV series The Passions Of Girls Aloud. Since parting company with the band, she has been working on a solo album which is yet to see the light of day.

Nadine holds Girls Aloud vocally together. I can't imagine what sound the other 4 would produce, it would be like Mel C leaving the Spice Girls.

I just read that and was about to post it too

Coming from the Sun so probably a lot of rubbish, but it still is a good occasion to talk about what's next for GA.

It's hard for me to imagine the Girls without Nadine, not because she's the best vocalist (lately they were relying more and more on Sarah and Nicola anyway, so they could deal with it), but I've never imagined the band with any of them leaving. Feels weird. And they've always said they would never do a Spice Girls and would call it a day if any of the Girls wanted to leave.

Personally, I rather have a four piece band than a permanent split, I love Girls Aloud way too much for that. But of course I would miss Nadine.

Anyway, this would more be a joint decision with Nadine and the label than a personal decision coming from the four girls. Nadine, you should have never left for LA :( :(

I agree, I can't imagine the Girls except as a five-piece, but she's been in L.A. far too long and is the reason the group hasn't made their comeback this year. If this is true I will miss her a lot, but all the other girls vocals are great, and Sarah will probably then become the main singer. I would prefer to see the Girls as a four-piece rather than the band end.

If Nadine wants to stay in GA she should priortise them? I dont think she does herself any favours her weird us/irish accent! The press wrong or rightly havent taken to her and she gets protraid as quite a diva at times...

her solo album is yet to see the light of day! i can understand if the other 4 girls have real commitment to GA and dont want Nadine to ruin the plans then they go for it? It wont be the same though!

I wish Nadine would join the girls commit another 2 years another new album and a greatest hits and fairwell tour! they should go out with a big band and do it right unlike so many bands who loose members and just never get back together!

I do remember a few years ago reading that sarah had left and was going to be replaced by Amy! that never happened! haha so this hopefully is all lies, i hope they get back together all 5! Nadine surely wants closure on what has been a huge part of her career!

I don't understand why their record companyl can't force ALL girls to return. They signed a contract and they HAVE TO to release three albums.

There is not point in forcing someone to stay into the band. Recording and promoting an album means you have to be 100% devoted to the project, or you can flop big time.

I rather have 4 girls 100% commited to the band than 4 girls and a half arsed girl.

But once again, I feel like it is just a stupid rumour again, I don't see why Nadine would want to leave the band, at the moment it's her only way to shine in the public eye.

Oh and just when Take That are back to a 5 piece band, I don't want GA to be reduced to a 4 piece band. I want that big 10 piece duet
