Louis Walsh says Girls Aloud will split after their next album.

 

The Irish music mogul thinks the band has struggled since Nadine Coyle moved to Los Angeles to be with actor lover Jesse Metcalfe.

 

Louis claims Girls Aloud will call it a day after their next record and accompanying tour.

 

He told New magazine: "They're doing one more album for Polydor. I think rumours about the band splitting started because Nadine is in Los Angeles, but she's only in Los Angeles because she's going out with a guy there, Jesse Metcalfe.

 

"She's with Jesse and there's not a thing we can do about it. But she's happy."

 

Louis rubbished rumours of a rift between Nadine and her fellow bandmates, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Tweedy, Nicole Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.

 

He insisted: They're getting on better than ever. They're getting on with it. They look great, they're always in the papers, they will definitely release another album and they're going on tour."

if they do another album album they will do 2 albums and get a 2nd greatest hits out of it i think

I think they should spilt, and I think they would choose to anyways! Wouldn't be the same without Nadine, and they would lose the voice of the group :(

erm, where does louis actually say in his quote that they are splitting? He doesn't. If GA split it would be a crime against uk pop music, i doubt they would split 1 album after the GH, that would be rather pointless, i'd say another 2-3 before they even considered splitting up so that they could bring out a GH, they really shouldn't have brought out a GH yet.

I can see Louis being right, no way will they last for another 3 albums. If Nadine left and the rest wanted to continue (which i would hope they would), i really do think they'd need to get a new girl in ... and one with an amazing voice like Nadine - she holds the group together (vocally).

It would be the same with someone else and didn't cheryl say that if one wanted to leave they'd split and never get back together?

Yeah, Cheryl said something like that on Off The Record.

The Sunsilk deal will keep them together for a long time. I'm sure it's in the contract that they can't split up until the contract comes to an end :P

Anyway the girls did talk about the recordings for the 4th album a lot of times, so there's nothing to really be worried about :dance:

Louis left them quite a long time ago... that was before the GH became the 2nd biggest GH seller of 2006 and SKO charted at #5 on downloads only... I think that's the reason why he is a gutted, he didn't think they could make that amout of money again :lol:
