February 23, 200916 yr I'm not predicting until Around the time of the release this time LOL 'Circus' so deserved Top 5 but look what happened :( But more people seem to prefer this one, so I'm not sure :(
February 23, 200916 yr Author I think it'll get top 3, possibly even number one. It's a fan favourite.
February 23, 200916 yr Top 10, at #7 odd. Circus 'flopped' because it sucked. This doesn't suck and as such shouldn't flop. Intelligent logic!
February 23, 200916 yr Top 10, at #7 odd. Circus 'flopped' because it sucked. This doesn't suck and as such shouldn't flop. Intelligent logic! It must be, considering it's on of her biggest radio hits in America. And it peaked at #6 on the worldwide chart. BTW. Selling 100k+ isn't a flop.
February 23, 200916 yr It's hardly a massive success when the album hasn't sold so much that subsequent singles will be affected. :o Come on, you know everybody expected it to be a lot bigger than it has been, in the UK at least...
February 23, 200916 yr Hopefully top 10, it $h!ts all over Circus. |||||||||||||||||||||| Amy | Circus
February 23, 200916 yr It's hardly a massive success when the album hasn't sold so much that subsequent singles will be affected. :o Come on, you know everybody expected it to be a lot bigger than it has been, in the UK at least... Circus was a moderate hit, at best. But it wasn't a flop. The fact it has sold 100k and is still in the top 20, keeps it from flop status. But it did indeed underperform in the UK. And just because it did only marginally well in the UK, doesn't mean that it was a flop. And the album has sold 280k in the UK, and the fact it's still charting in the top 75 has made it outlast alot of her past studio albums in the UK. Blackout, In The Zone, and Britney both fell down the charts very quickly, and the fact that Circus is still charting and is already very close to platinum status is to be thanked that her team has chosen good singles to support the album. I mean the song has been charting for more then 2 months, just from people downloading the album track off of itunes. If it had just been released and peaked at #13 that would be one thing, but it has been selling steady since the albums release in December.
February 23, 200916 yr But it's STILL only a moderate hit. :heehee: I'm not going to argue because I don't think we actually disagree. I'm merely saying people were expecting much bigger things of it than actually occured, and I believe the public thought it was cruddy even compared to Womanizer.

I think the only thing we disagree about is the fact that you think it didn't hit the top ten was because it was a bad song. While I think it stalled at #13 because it was more then less used to get people to buy the album.
February 23, 200916 yr How MANY prediction threads do we NEED at once? The forum is being swamped at the moment. Well… Womanizer #3 Circus #13 If You Seek Amy #23? Unfortunately I can see it being her smallest hit to date.

February 24, 200916 yr It's hardly a massive success when the album hasn't sold so much that subsequent singles will be affected. :o Come on, you know everybody expected it to be a lot bigger than it has been, in the UK at least... The album has shifted more than Blackout did and it's still selling. "If U Seek Amy" and the tour which starts 3rd March will send the album back up the charts, wait and see. ^_^ Why has someone voted flop, the odds of Britney missing the top 40 are just... well... non-existent.
