Posted February 24, 200916 yr Very simple, the girls have had their hits and misses for sure! Which songs should've been skipped for a most straight-forward choice?! Sound of the underground (2003) I would have added "Girls on film" as single release after the special edition release. The 3 songs that were released are superb though and need no change. What will the neighbours say? (2004) The only release I dislike in here is "Wake me up" when they also could have released "Thank me daddy" and "Big brother" YET! I do understand that these 2 songs could mean great controverse "Thank me daddy" for assuming forced prostitution if I may say myself. "Big brother" speaks for itself. Chemistry (2005) Maybe a double release with a Xmas single?! "Biology" is bullocks, replaced gladly with "Models" instead. "Long hot summer" is so mediocre and wrong, you can see Cheryl's pained look on her face in the video. "Swinging London town" should have been the single release to open it all. I like the other 2 releases. Tangled up (2007) Superb superb superb album, I like the release a lot. Yet, I would have replaced the slapper song "Can't speak Français" with "Girl overboard", "Close to love" or "Control of the knife". Actually, keep all single releases, and just have a 4th, 5th and 6th single! Out of control (2008) This album release should've been accompanied by "The loving kind" as 1st single. "The promise" is the weakest of the album. Future releases, "Memory of you" accompanied by a special edition of the album and "Turn to stone"!
February 24, 200916 yr Sound of the underground album - SOTU, NGA and LGC were the perfect first three imo, but I'd have followed it with a different 4th single, I'm really not fussed on the Jump cover, but at the same time I think it got them so more fans. don't know what I'd have replaced it with. What will the neighbours say - Imo the perfect 4 songs were chose as the singles. Chemistry - I would have released Biology as the lead single, Whole Lotta History 2nd, Models 3rd and probably Wild Horses as 4th single. Tangled Up - Sexy! NNN perfect lead single imo, Call the shots again was a great 2nd choice, Girl Overboard should have been 3rd single, and they should have had a 4th Close To Love. OOC - The Promise great lead single, Memory Of You would have been an amazing 20th single, I would have had RBTRIT as 3rd, and either TLK or Love is Pain as 4th. :)
February 24, 200916 yr Instead of Can't Speak French i'd have had Control Of The Knife as the last single from TU. I love that song, really should have been released

February 24, 200916 yr The only massive mistakes happened in TU era. Call The Shots would of been even more massive if it was released first i think, with Sexy! No No No second and Girl Overboard third. All my non-GA fan friends cannot believe GO was never released still!
February 24, 200916 yr Well, i only have Out Of Control...and my single choices off that would be. The Promise - sounded similar to the 60s thing last year  And was sure to be huge. Love Is Pain Miss You Bow Wow The Loving Kind Untouchable Love Is The Key All of those deserve a release
February 24, 200916 yr Sound of the underground (2003) I suppose I'm happy with all, especially Life Got Cold  I hate jump tho <_< but it was a wise move, big hit which I think was an important milestone in their transition from reality tv stars to bonafide singers (I don't know about you, but I rarely think of them as Popstars The Rival contestants!) What will the neighbours say? (2004) Perfect in every way - Wake Me Up is sooo good, even better live (Nic: I think your off your heeeeaaaaaddd  ) Chemistry (2005) I loved Long Hot Summer, Biology and See The Day, bit controversial but I'd have released Watch Me Go rather than Whole Lotta History (I liked it at the time, very Spice Girlsy but I hardly ever play it now, and it's the point on tour I go pee pee or for drinks) Sound Of Girls Aloud (2006) Sorry but Think We're Alone Now shouldn't have been released, and they were especially right not to release Money (I'd have loved Singapore tho, but it wouldn't have been a hit) Tangled up (2007) I'm happy with all three (you can't deny Speak French was a fantastic shock hit I love it but never expected it to sell like it has!) This Era and SKO I think were where GA really became big respected stars (sceptics: even before Chez did X Factor). But Girl Overboard is MEGA MEGA MEGA (should've heard me scream on tour lol my fave's were first!) Out of control (2008) Perfect so far, the first time they've released singles EXACTLY as I would've liked  My mates say they need a traditional GA single (fast) I'm not sure if I agree, the formula of midtempo tracks is working great for them. But saying that I'd love Miss You Bow Wow as a single Whatever my thoughts though - Sound Of Girls Aloud (modified on my iTunes to include other singles) is a FANTASTIC greatest hits that I never ever get bored of and never skip tracks, the girls and every single released are just fantastic. I love GA :yahoo: Edited February 24, 200916 yr by geriboy
February 24, 200916 yr Well, from Chemistry instead of 'Whole Lotta History' I wanted either 'Models' or 'Watch Me Go'. I didn't like the Tangled Up era singleswise, all my least favourites were released as the singles and the real golden tracks 'Control Of The Knife', 'Girl Overboard' and 'Close To Love' were left behind. Gah!
