Home & Leisure were always popular in Morrisons back home

So was the FFPP supervisor. He always got phone calls.

-Gifts

-Sweets on the checkouts

there's so much that we have to do, so we get called all day long!!!

That the same as Morrisons.

You should be renamed 'Store Slaves' or 'Bric A Brac Department'

:heehee:

Bric a Brac department, I like that :heehee:

'can Richard from bric-a-brac please come to customer services' :P

I used to hate Homeware at Matalan, for sure it was mainly because the department had no speakers so it was always deadly quiet but also everything is so fiddly, lots of mugs and cutlery to try and arrange ist nicht so gut.

:o helium balloons!!! how immense is that!?

  • Author

not very immense :nocheer:

it requires me having to leave the department to blow up a balloon for somebody :drama:

I didn't see any balloons today which was a bit disappointing - I spose it must blow (lol) having to do that all day though which is far nuff.

I was also a bit disappointed by the lack of music in store, it might have just been the sheer noise of 1000s of people all bulldozing their way aroun the store but I didn't hear a peep of Rontvian music or any music for that matter :(

Am off to Churchill Square tomorrow, I doubt I'll be going to Asda (intentionally ) but keep an eye out for me driving round the car park with a worried look on my face

Ahahaha, Churchill Square

That hill is a nightmare to walk back up on the way back from a TK Maxx I think? :(

I have the day off tomorrow, I did a shift swap with someone who has Saturday off to see Tina Turner in London :heehee: that does mean I'll have to work all weekend though :nocheer:

incidentally I was considering going to Churchill Square tomorrow...I'm sure you're following me  then again, it's a bit of a damp squib now that Zavvi's closed, I spend most of my time outside of Churchill Square when I'm in Brighton

it seems like nothing to me, but then I've lived in Brighton all my life

one place I did find weird when visiting (purely to see Kelly Clarkson live a few years back :kink:) was Bournemouth...their high street is weirdly split into two which goes down a dip in the middle before two hilly bits with the shops on...

and surely there were better shops to visit than TK Maxx :kink:

I was only there to see if there were any good deals while I was Christmas shopping! :(

TBH I just raided Primark :heehee: Even the Zavvi had pretty pitiful offers :(

 I'm sure! still it could be worse, it could be TJ Hughes, the poor man's TK Maxx!!!

Zavvi was never great to be fair, no wonder it closed down, although I did get a load of bargains in their administration sale just before they closed

Well I've got to try and find the place first and then hopefully my mate will be able to escort me round Churchill Square so i don't get lost (again) Is there a River Island in this place? I think I've still got vouchers to be spent from Xmas :o

@Trash - why would you go to TK Maxx?
