It should clear half. Of what Chasing Lights sold. It's obvious now that Forever Is Over wasn't the right song to launch the album. :(
FIO isn't to blame though. ;) The number 1 album has only just scraped 20k in todays mids and that's from an album selling act. So it's not only The Sats suffering. It's just general album sales are on the low :(

#36  What the hell happened there? Heck even Chasing Lights went 2 places higher than that.
It's funny near the end when Rochelle turns to the side too early and her and Una start laughing.
I brought it this morning and it's pretty amazing stuff. I love Here Standing, Ego, Wordshaker, Open Up and Lose Control atm although they're all great. Denial reminded me of Chasing Lights quite a bit on first listen. The artwork is appalling though, it looks and feels really cheap and is a bit of a step backwards from their debut

Well, erm, at least it made the top 10....

Ego WILL hopefully turn this around for them. But tbh it could be worse...

I never thought they'd get a high album position after Chasing Lights never went top 10 despite some big hits. #9 is decent, but the sales will be terrible.

I'm pretty disappointed, sold just over 15k.

Although it could be worse.

Just ask Taio Cruz who had a #1 single.

Bring on Ego! :D

Chasing Lights did. :P

Chasing Lights did. :P

Oh yes, same position.

Really hope it can go top 5 once Ego is released, it should have a better peak than the previous album!
If they had released a deccent single then Im sure this could have had decent sales, better position and more consistent sales (I'm guessing this will drop like a brick).

Oh dear god. Now i know Forever Is Over may not be their best single but comparing it to the mess that was Girls? No song deserves that surely?

I dont think this era is as doomed as C&S. The Sats have at least 3-4 good potential singles on the album. C&S was just an album of good album tracks.

#9 is disappointing - what the hell happened?!

But, think of Girls Aloud's WWTNS? album - their second - launched off the back #2 hit Love Machine, peaked at number 6 ... there's still a lot of time for Wordshaker to peak. GA's third album, Chemistry, peaked at number ELEVEN, but spawned a hugely popular single in Biology. But in all honesty, number eleven was an abysmal position for an act as huge as Girls Aloud. For The Sats second album, #9 is still respectable.
