March 1, 200916 yr Author Foster Evra Ferdinand Evans O'Shea Nani Scholes Gibson Ronaldo Tevez Welbeck
March 1, 200916 yr Author Chelsea's team last year will be stronger than the one you are putting out tomorrow OWF doesn't care about the Carling Cup you will be going through the motions otherwise you would put out a full strength side, we are well and truly up for it as it is the only way we will be in Europe next season the winner of the CC doesn't go through to Europe.
March 1, 200916 yr Author Spurs have barely been in it today if we had someone on instead of Gibson, we'd have won a long time ago or if we started Anderson-Scholes
March 1, 200916 yr Pavlyuchenko  What a waste of space  Not a bad match, we bare shoulda won it with Ronny's shot, oh well ONWARDS + UPWARDS
March 1, 200916 yr lennon has totally destroyed evra today. o shea should have been sent off. Ekotto has made Ronaldo seem like a 3rd rate schoolboy today pav and bent are $h!t if defoe was playing we would have won in 90 mins
March 1, 200916 yr Author destroyed? and we should have had a penalty, you clown forgot to mention that, didn't you? Anderson's showed just how much better he is than Modric, aswell most-overrated player i've seen in years ahahah @ you winning in 90 mins if Defoe played if we played our first 11, we'd have won 5-0
March 1, 200916 yr Author United have won one big penalty-shootout that i can remember last year in Moscow so the odds are stacked against us, imo
March 1, 200916 yr I don't support either teams but I was really nervous cos' I really dont want Man Utd to win to be honest :P
March 1, 200916 yr Author last 3 seasons we've won; Premier League, 06/07, 07/08 [2] League Cup, 08/09 [1] Charity Shield, 07/08, 08/09 [2] UEFA Champions League, 07/08 [1] FIFA World Club Cup, 08/09 [1] 7 titles, and this season's not even over yet... in this time, Chelsea have won just one League Cup, while Liverpool have won nothing at this moment in time, we're untouchable
March 1, 200916 yr I'd hardly count the Charity Shield, the Club Championships as proper trophies... The others yes though.
March 1, 200916 yr Author like liverpool fans wouldn't count them, they're cups and you'd give your left bollox to have them in your cabinet
March 1, 200916 yr like liverpool fans wouldn't count them, they're cups and you'd give your left bollox to have them in your cabinet Not really. :s At the end of day you never hear people going "well we've got 15 Charity Shields ". Maybe it's nice for the fans of the teams to think about, but the Charity Shield means so little me that I don't even have a clue how many Liverpool have ever won. It's just like another pre-season friendly.
March 1, 200916 yr the winner of the CC doesn't go through to Europe. They do... It's now gone to 6th place in the Premiership. Manchester United are currently one of the teams who've qualified to enter the Europa League. Obviously it won't last and you'll move up soon enough.. Edited March 1, 200916 yr by RabbitFurCoat
March 1, 200916 yr Author i thought it were just FA Cup? didn't we have this discussion on BJ abit ago about this and everyone agreed on the league cup winner not going through to europe?
March 1, 200916 yr i thought it were just FA Cup? didn't we have this discussion on BJ abit ago about this and everyone agreed on the league cup winner not going through to europe? No, the rule changed with the FA Cup. Up until next season, the rule was winner of both League and FA cup, however the runner up of the FA Cup could qualify if the winners had already qualified. Now, no runners-up can qualify but winners still do, if either winner qualifies another way the place goes to the League.
March 1, 200916 yr Author they should change europe totally Champions = Champions League Places 2/3 = UEFA Cup/Euro League it'd make football alot better you wouldn't end up with teams finishing low table (ala City) getting into Europe via fairplay Edited March 1, 200916 yr by This Charming Man
March 1, 200916 yr Just got back from the pub, bit tipsy so not gonna be much effort into my post Shame we "lost" but $h!t happens, we were missing a lot of important players today too like Keane, Defoe, Palacios, Woodgate and our lads were as good if not better over the 120 mins than the so called "worlds best team" I am not that bothered about the mickey mouse cup, for me it was an excuse to have a few drinks and watch my team play, the Boro game is 10 times more important to me than today Premiership>>>carling cup We were unlucky to "lose" today Ronaldo dived that's why no penalty although there was a slight touch lol
