KoS :heart: Greenfroze

Greenfroze was for the first (and last) time struck heavily by the curse of Random.org, and unfortunately placed in the wrong semi in XXII!

And as such, Greenfroze experienced a truly heartbroken and dark DNQ... with 15th in the semi - on 55 points. But thank you for the points, to those of you who supported Donkeyboy in semi 2!

 

Nevertheless, as the 100% campaign era definitely continues - we would like to present our song choices for XXIII.

 

 

Song number 1

 

The Higher - It's only Natural

 

 

We've had this song in contention since XIX..

- and we know that the main vocalist looks a bit weird, but his voice is great and fitting for the track, and this song IS massively catchy! :D

 

A strong pop/rock act.

But strong enough to make it to the final?

 

 

 

Song number 2

 

A demo song, an uknown artist - with the producers name "S-KEY".

 

S-KEY - Nitro Love

 

 

I found this song while searching, and in a time period not far from The higher.

 

The verses are stronger than the chorus, and the song as a whole does grow some inches every time you listen to it. But it's good, and towards the ending of the song - the feeling of wanting to dance definitely emerges.

 

But does it have what it takes?

 

 

 

Song Number 3

 

Monty are I – The patriarch

 

 

A grand, but calm explosive pop/rock power anthem. This is the song I feel strongest about sending – as it has grown on me big time, and I definitely love it enough to see it as a good enough 100% representation for Greenfroze in XXIII.

 

 

Do you feel that this a great choice? Or just an utterly stupid evaluation compared to song number 1 and/or 2?

 

 

 

All three songs does defines a new sound for me, but which song do you reckon should do the best for Greenfroze in BJSC XXIII..?

 

 

And yes, I absolutely appreciate some opinions! :D

The Higher - It's Only Natural 80/100 Very nice, likely points from me.

S-KEY - Nitro Love 30/100 Bad and boring.

Monty Are I - The Patriarch 95/100 To nobody's surprise, this is my favourite of the three. :D And I like it a lot. The chorus is awesome. <3

S-Key, sounds like she swallowed a vocoder, heavily used, the track goes nowhere 0/5

 

The Higher, hmmm... on first it does not grab me, might need a few more listens, it feels like a lost Haddaway dance track in some places 2.5/5

 

Return the favour when you can.

 

 

The Higher - i liked it at the start but i can't help but think its missing something :unsure: 6/10

Nitro Love - Don't really like this 1 much....maybe it will grow interesting video of famous ppls busts :lol: 4/10

Monty And I - Like this the most, can definetly see myself giving this one points 8/10

 

o and btw....Donkeyboy were robbed :( :snif:

The Higher - wasn't a fan of his voice really, the song's alright but I wouldn't vote for it - 5/10

S-Key - completely bland to me - 4/10

Monty Are I - undoubtedly the strongest song musically but like with The Higher, I'm not a fan of the singer's voice really - 6/10

can I just take the opportunity to say that Donkeyboy's Ambitions has grown on me insane amounts in the last two weeks...I now absolutely love it - it's moved up from an 8.5/10 to a 10/10 :heart: sorry it took so long to click and I didn't give it points because it would now get at least 8 :snif:

It's alright though, seeing as you have liked my previous 3 entries! (Emmy Rossum, Carmen and Camille, Donkeyboy).. Or wait, is that correct? If you liked Ambitions too, and then again the Aly and Aj track, you've liked my previous 5 entries!? :o

well yep, I liked all of them to some extent :P Emmy was gorgeous :wub: Carmen and Camille was good, the two Donkeyboy songs are excellent and Aly & AJ's song is one of my favourite songs of the decade :heart: Greenfroze, along with Numayania and Hendinia are my favourites of the 'new' nations :D you would be much higher in my voting history if Emmy and Sometimes had qualified for the final :snif:

Anyway, The Higher is best for me, great fun with an 80s spin. Monty Are I is good, but a bit slow for me. S-Key is just a bit poor really. You can really tell it's a demo.

 

So, overall the Higher for me (it's the most likely to pick up points from me too).

Monty; I also adore Emilia and On Fire is far from her best ;o In fact she doesn't have much left that would do really well at the BJSC...maybe Weightless if people were feeling ballady?
