Please comment, etc. I started writing this up and uploading at 11pm and now its 2am so YO WELCOME. Just kidding, I enjoyed writing it. And f***ing credit me if someone from another site happens to use this for some odd reason. lmfao.

Ok so as most of you already know I went to see Britney's AMAZING tour last night in Atlanta. When I got there the line to get inside was atleast half a mile long, and that was only at 6pm, 30 minutes before the doors opened to get in. So I was talking to people in line and some had come from as far all states bordering Georgia, not to mention one girl I talked to come all the way from Louisiana because she couldn't get the tickets she wanted from the first show in New Orleans. And let me go ahead and set Yahoo straight, that stadium was jam PACKED by the time Britney came on. You could tell alot of people didn't give two $h!ts about PCD and came in once they finished. But needless to say, there was not one seat left in the arena, I even asked the ushers that checked my ticket who told me it was SOLD OUT, which was just f***ing exciting.

Here's a pic (which are btw $h!t, but I took them for you guys so hope you enjoy the ones I took for some of the performances) of one side of the audience, you tell me what you think:

I managed to bring in my camera phone which they didn't care about and they don't care if you bring in digital cameras either, as long as it's not a professional camera you can bring it in... security really isn't that intense. Anyways, once I got inside everybody was running towards a booth that sold merchandise and they had alot of stuff. Look at the bottom of this post for merchandise details Moving on..

When we got to our seats we were in awe just because we had got two seats for regular GA, but our seats were AMAZING, we were on the right side of the arena

Our seats:

and right next to us was Missy Elliot, Ciara, and Perez Hilton. You can probably see some of them here in this crappy shot.

Then we waited for 8 to get here and around 8:05 PCD came on. They were good, but let me tell you they weren't near as good or entertaining as Brit, at one point the crowd started chanting "Britney, Britney" in between one of their songs. heres one pic:

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092038.jpg

THEN BRITNEY. There was a little pre-show that was cute, not picture worthy. Except for Sandou trio and the ninjas they were awesome!

ANYWAYS. This is the pic of when the tour video just started. Perez was so into himself I was watching him as the tour video came on, but alot of the people were sticking up there middle finger in the air. It was quite amusing. And it was very amazing so professionally done, and she really did use him to her advantage. THEN Britney came from the ceiling, and I had a panic attack and thought I was gonna die. She was awesome so confident and so on point. Everything was on point from the effects to the dancers and the audience just went f***ing NUTZ I seriously thought my ears were gonna bleed from all the noise, but I didn't give a f*** I kept screaming right with them.

After Circus she went into Piece Of Me, and that bitch worked that cage. She was doing all of these splits. And I'm glad I watched it on youtube before actually going because it made seeing it in person just that more INTENSE. The pulling her leg into the air abover her head, wow. It was so awesome in person! LOVED IT. The cage was awesome.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092130a.jpg

After Piece Of Me was of course Radar, and let me tell you... before seeing it live I HATED the song. But after seeing her perform it I f***ing love it. It was great, the choreography was clever and like I said before she was right on point with the dance steps, and she just smiled so much during the song, made me so f***ing happy to see her enjoying herself! All my pics were just really $h!tty here though, and like I said I only got a couple of ok shots.

After that they did the karate segue which was really awesome, and during that they played a remix of Gimme More which made me happy because atleast it was on the tour. But it was hot, the karate people were hot as hell too.

After that, Britney came back out in this sparkly long dress and did Ooh Ooh Baby. During this track she did a bunch of little magic tricks, including having the saws put through her while she was in the stand up box. And yes Arturo, you could see her face the entire time :P . Next she went under this tarp thing and they kept showing her and lifting it up to see only her legs and she was sticking her hand out with a feather boa every now and again, and then right after that she appears on the opposite end of the stage and that was pretty f***ing cool, even though it was obvious how they did it after putting two and two together. That ran right into Hot As Ice which was short but really cute, I think they mainly used it for the line "living legend you can look but don't touch"

After that there was another quick change, and then she came back out to do Boys and If You Seek Amy. Which was really good. I really liked Boys and it was one of the songs that had the most choreography in it the bikes they used added a really cool touch especially the pole on the end of the second one she jumps onto, the part where they all pull down their pants and all run up torwards her was awesome, especially when she pushed them all back at the same time, TWAS AN LULZ MOMENT FOR THE CROWD. and she was really into the military sequence, and the audience LOVED that bit. After that she went into If You Seek Amy which also was one of my faves (I'm probably gonna say that for every song because the whole show was amazing). But the think about IYSA was that it was really cute but not slutty at all, and that could be said for the whole show. Very sexy, but tastefully done, minus maybe the nipple tassles, lmfao. The pink hammer was a little cheesy but it was cute, she was really into the IYSA song though, which again was GREAT to see, as the dorkiness she showed in IYSA was something I hadn't seen since her performances in 2004.

After that she went down again and came back up in her little Indian outift, and let me say that the Indian dance was kick ass in person, and it looked really lame on the youtube video I saw before the show. It was a pleasant surprise and it was a really good remix of MATM.

After that she talked to the crowd and was like "WATSUP ATLANTA" and we all screamed our lung out for like 5 minutes straight and she was smiling and seemed so humble, it made me f***ing love her even more, that's not possible though. And she talked and said a couple more words about enjoying the show and then she introduced Everytime and the crowd went wild again. It was f***ing LIVE too, and if you don't think it is then wait until you see it live. It was f***ing LIVE in Atlanta.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092158.jpg

Then I think it's when the Marilyn Manson's Sweet Dreams video started playing and that was really awesome. She looked so f***ing hot on that big screen. I'm pretty sure that's when that happened. but no Duffy, thank God. I didn't like the song before Britney covered it.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092202.jpg

Then she came out and started Freakshow and that was a good performance but it was probably my least fave performance of the night because not alot was happening, besides the hat trick with the dancers which was really cool. then Get Naked which was hot as hell, the part where they all sit down and move their heads together looked so freaking amazing live. And the nipple tassle outfit was hot because you couldn't really tell the nipple tassles were there, haha.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092216a.jpg

then after that the dancers pulled a guy out of the VIP section on the stage and this was while Britney was in the air singing Breathe On Me. towards the end of the song she came down and they danced around the guy a little and then at the end of the song when the sshhhhhh part comes she put her finger on his lips. Nothing Janet Jackson style raunchy. After that she got on the couch and sang Touch Of My Hand and that was a good performance that's when the guy picked her up out of the air and they looked like they were laying on top of each other in the air.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092220.jpg

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092220b.jpg

Then there was a little break where the guitarist and bassist from the live band came on the stage and there solo was VERY good. That lead into the Do Somethin' performance, and Do Soemthin' is so f***ing amazing when a live guitar is playing it. All of the dancers were holding this thing that had sparks flying out of it, Britney did too and it was really good.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092226.jpg

That then lead into Slave, which was another fave of mine. the choreography was great and I thought the outfit used for it was great too! The part where she goes up above the audience and then the fire ring came up was f***ing awesome. The whole crowd went f***ing AWOL. It was great.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092230.jpg

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f221/AllysaRox/0305092230-1.jpg

After that she then went down, and all the dancers had a little solo bit. They all had their own music and they were all amazing. One girl used lollipop by lil Wayne, a guy used Solja Boy, the hottest guy that's in Jenni's sig where she's in the cop uniform danced to Don't Stop The Music. Was very cool, VERY talented dancers.

THEN all of a sudden you heard the faint intro to Toxic and it kept getting louder and the crowd exploded, I swear the whole crowd yelled Toxic! in excitement when we realized what it was. She came out in these black pants and striped crop top. It was alot better looking then the outfit she wore in New Orleans and Toxic was great, she danced really well to it, and the best part about this ENTIRE concert was how the whole arena was just singing along word by word. Then she came out with the BOMT remix and that performance was HOOOOT. By this time my camera was about to die and I could not manage to get a good pic at all, but at the end where the remix repeats One More Time like 10 times MADE that performance strobe lights going off it was just great.

THEN you think it's over, and even some people start to leave, but then the video montage with Break The Ice came on and that $h!t GOT YOU SOOOOO PUIMPED. I f***ing loved it. After that she came on and did Womanizer, and that was my favorite tour outfit, the police officer uniform. And she didn't really dance alot in Womanizer or not as much as in the other songs. But it was really hot, especially at the end where the chorus repeated itself 3x. The whole crowd was singing. MAGIC. Then sparks started flying from the ceiling and wow it was beautiful. Then once it was over confetti flew all over the audience and Britney looked so confident telling us Thank you and that she loved us. It was a great night, and in my opinion her best tour. Worth every f***ing penny.

MERCHANDISE:

There were 4 different poster designs ($10), a smaller poster that wasn't and bigger then a piece of notebook paper that was the same picture as the album cover ($3). The lollipop (I bought it) which was $25 it's a "couture lollipop" made by the sugar factory and it's really cool the stick is a metal piece (I'm assuming I'm not opening up the packaging) that's layered in pink and blue rhinestones and it's in a box that has Britney's picture on both sides and it says "must mistake me as a sucker" above the nutritional facts on the back, worth the money IMO. Then there was the Circus Tour book which is absolutely worth every penny, very nice it was $30 and I have pics later on. They also had keychains for $5. Then they had the top hats I think for $20, don't really remember weren't anything special. Then there were masquerade eye masks, and they were like $10 I think. That's about it and they had balloons and the popcorn they were selling had Britney's name on the popcorn tub. The shirts were between $40 - $70 and I didn't buy one, the jacket was alright and it was $150. It was so crowded and I really didn't give a $h!t about them once I saw the price tags. All in all I spent $70 on merchandise (tour book, couture lollipop, keychain, and poster).

Great review! You had a blast and the tourbook looks amazing!!!!

Was "Circus" live?? From the videos I've seen it seems live in some parts...

OMG :w00t:

so glad you had a GREAT time :D and I'm sooo jelaous :P

wish I could see her LIVE sometime :(

great read btw, I LOVE the review :cheer:

It sounds like it was a disaster!

:heehee: I knew you'd hate it Tyler :kink:

Just kidding OBVZ :P I REALLY Can't wait for her to come to London :( It still seems like AGESSSS away :drama:

Nice pics too! Enjoyed reading it and LOVE the picture of her used in that Poster you bought :o

I can't wait until I see her in June. I'm going to get all the merchandise there! Shame it's so far away though. Sounds like you had an incredible time Tyler. :)
Thanks for this Tyler. Fans from official Croatian BS forum are so jelaous :D but more people from forum are very grateful for this your review. :)

Oh my gosh, I always thought you really liked Radar! But I agree, it's sucky - maybe when she does it in London my mind'll be changed too!

Great review and good pics! Great to hear you enjoyed it so much, after waiting so long!

I really liked Radar until it was put on the Circus album and then I loathed it because it made the album but Amnesia didn't.

And Circus sounded live but it was probably pre-recorded. Alot of the songs sounded as if she was singing live but just along with heavy backing tracks, but you could definitely hear her sing in all of the songs.

Sounds amazing :o I really wanted to go but the only realistic date I could go to (Manchester) sold out far too quickly for us to get 3 decent seats. Arseholes.

So basically, she's not miming but singing over the pre-recorded vocals right?

Loathe Radar? Its my all-time fave brit song but sounds amazing, glad ya had a great time.

I didn't really LOATHE Radar, I just got EXTREMELY tired of it.

From what i have read she is putting on a great show but for me there is no point of going to a concert unless the person performing is singing live,i absolutly live music i love the energy it gives and im not saying all the vocals have to be brilliant or anything but for me i would not buy tickets unless they sing live, from all the reviews i have read is is positive from the press but its constantly mentioned she only sings live on 1 track which is ber song everytime i think.

Now i ask a question from the real britney fans which is you guys, does it bother ye at all that she never sings live??

  • Author
She is singing along with a backing track, and you can clearly hear her when your in the arena. So I am completely happy with this tour, and that's why it's my favorite.
Now i ask a question from the real britney fans which is you guys, does it bother ye at all that she never sings live??

Would over 600,000 people have bought tickets for the tour, knowing she would probably lip-synch, if they cared?

I think the press and non-Britney fans always put a bigger deal on the lip-synching, thinking we care so much more than we do. Britney has synched, or sung along to a backing track, for years. She didn't sing live at the peak of her ability (DWAD), why do we expect her to now, in an arguable frailer position? Realistically, I booked tickets for 2 London shows, spending over 250 quid on the tickets ... I knew she wouldn't sing everything live. I. Do. Not. Care. I was aware of it, and was not shocked that she didn't sing live on X Factor etc. The press make it into a big deal, as if it's a surprise. Anyone who is actually a Britney fan wouldn't have expected her to, and therefore wouldn't have been disappointed. Britney's fans are not stupid and thus constantly let down. Infact, since they actually have some shred of reality, they're probably smarter than those who constantly expect her to sing live.

If I went to see, say, Carrie Underwood, and she lip-synched a gig, I'd be gutted, because I expect her to be live. Not only because she's proven herself, but also because she just stands for most of the show. Britney, however, isn't just a gig, it's a spectacle, a performance, a joy to watch - if to gain live vocals we have to sacrifice everything else about the show, to me, that's not worth it.

  • Author

WORD Andrew.

I'm going to go see this again in Chicago on April 29th. My friend and I are going to take a road trip to see her and we are gonna get VIP seats this time. That's how worth it this show is.

Yes, I am very wise.

And jealous, that you're going againnnnn. Even if I'm going twice too. It's in June, thus far away. I feel like I'll be heading to Manchester aswell tbh, after I've seen it.
