Lining up in front of those 2 will be MGMT - KIDS at 51, FOUR SEASONS at 52, NEYO - MAD at 53, GIRLS ALOUD - THE PROMISE back up to 54. Further down back up for TING TINGS - THAT`s NOT MY NAME, and GURU JOSH - INFINTY 08. We did great again last week with 38 in the 40, 45 in the 50 on the singles front...slightly less so, on the album front with 24 in the 30! Back in March 1991, Radio Luxembourg came up with this: 01 02 SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO - THE CLASH 02 01 CRAZY FOR YOU - MADONNA 03 03 YOU GOT THE LOVE RE-MIX - SOURCE/CANDI STATON 04 12 BECAUSE I LOVE YOU (THE POSTMAN`S SONG) - STEVIE B. 05 07 MOVE YOUR BODY (ELEVATION) - XPANSIONS 06 04 DO THE BARTMAN - THE SIMPSONS 07 06 ALL RIGHT NOW 91 - FREE 08 NE THE STONK - HALE AND PACE/STONKERS 09 NE JOYRIDE - ROXETTE 10 14 LOVE REARS IT`S UGLY HEAD - LIVING COLOR 11 05 I WANNA GIVE YOU DEVOTION - NOMAD 12 08 GET HERE - OLETA ADAMS 13 NE IT`S TOO LATE - QUARTZ/DINA CARROLL 14 17 WHO? WHERE? WHY? - JESUS JONES 15 NE UNFINISHED SYMPATHY - MASSIVE 16 19 GO FOR IT - JOEY B. ELLIS/TYNETTA HARE 17 NE DON`T GO MESSIN`WITH MY HEART - MANTRONIX 18 NE LOSING MY RELIGION - R.E.M. 19 11 3AM ETERNAL - KLF/CHILDREN OF THE REVOLUTION 20 09 OUTSTANDING - KENNY THOMAS 15 in the 20 for Luxembourg in 1991. They missed with Ride - Today Forever, Ned`s Atomic Dustbin - Happy, The One And Only - Chesney Hawkes, Rhythm Of My Heart - Rod Stewart, and Over Rising - Charlatans...the first 4 turned up, on the following week at 7, 15, 12, and 16 respectively...as they apparently did not rate The Charlatans much! :teresa: It was quite a memorable year though...with the last recesssion on it`s early days. CRAZY FOR YOU was actually a midweek number one. The CLASH rerelease just sneaked into the 20, in 1982. The SIMPSONS provided the comedy...as did HALE AND PACE, or not?! That one was (of course) COMIC RELIEF 1991. A much re-mixed and covered CANDI STATON piece "YOU GOT THE LOVE", which first appeared in the late 70s in original form (a UK flop)...was having it`s first taste of success here. Dancey/Trancey with XPANSIONS, NOMAD...a slightly different version of CAROLE KING``s 1971 toptenner for QUARTZ, and a first for DINA CARROLL. The over rereleased "ALRIGHT NOW"...I got sick of that in 1970! Let alone 1973, 1978, 1991 etc! Although this 1991 record, was not entirely the same as the 3 previous releases. LIVING COLOR were probably the best about. Unfortunately follow ups did not take too well. MASSIVE were (again, of course) MASSIVE ATTACK. OLETA ADAMS hung around forever...the airplay on it was enormous, and probably the only current chart record played on Radio Two! The line-up of R2, absolutely atrocioius with DEREK JAMESON, DAVID JACOBS, GLORIA HUNNIFORD, HUGHIE GREENE...Hell! One good thing in March 1991 was the return of ED STEWART. We mustn`t forget early days for R.E.M. Yeah, RAPID EYE MOVEMENT! KLF had help from the CHILDREN OF THE REVOLUTION...and you can`t fool the "Children Of The Revolution", of course! The Radio Luxembourg "Next Week`s Top 20" feature was presented by SHAUN TILLEY in 1991, on a Sunday night at 9pm.
March 9, 200916 yr Thanks Dave Shockingly low debut for Islands In The Stream... :o (Sad for September personally, but I sort of knew it was coming...)
March 9, 200916 yr Kelly BELOW Taylor Swift?! :o Wasn't expecting that at all! Shame for Peter too, hopefully he'll make at least top 60
March 9, 200916 yr Author I laugh if the second Comic Relief single gets top 20, but its looking unlikely It becomes the number 2 physical today behind Saturdays, but infront of T.I. at 3 and Oasis at 4.
March 9, 200916 yr It's the stupid way it's listed on iTunes. On other sites it's fine. And the physical will surely be everywhere.
March 9, 200916 yr Thanks for this! :D This made me LOL though: 03 01 JUST CAN`T GET ENOUGH - SUGABABES
March 9, 200916 yr It's the stupid way it's listed on iTunes. On other sites it's fine. And the physical will surely be everywhere. No, it's fantastic because it means it won't be number one. I bloody hate it! :puke2:
March 9, 200916 yr Author 01 52 RIGHT ROUND - FLO RIDA Isn't this up from 06 not 52? No, we didn`t chart it in the 50 last week because it didn`t appear in the top 30 on iTunes until late Monday PM.
March 9, 200916 yr Kelly deserves to be ABOVE Taylor IMO. I adont mind that U2 stays at number 1 because its a well known fact they are huge album sellers but Fearless has nothing on AIEW...

You know what I think I`m losing the plot! I didn`t look back to last week`s thread. I was taking it from a scribbled bit of paper! It was indeed number 6 last week. I took a position from a Sunday evening quota, by mistake! (Goes to edit)!!!!!!!!!!
