The support acts on this tour will be Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs, Elbow, Glasvegas and wait for it......... The Black Eyed Peas :o

More to be announced. I'd personally have perfored The Killers or Kings Of Leon, added along with Snow Patrol remaining, although Kaiser Chiefs are good live.

Oh God. Tell me the Black Eyed Peas ain't at Hampden. They'll go down like a lead balloon :(

Snow Patrol! :o Yay!

But, I want Placebo. -_- :P

Snow Patrol great :yahoo: black Eyed Peas  well they were good at live earth -_- and they can shout as much as Kaiser Chiefs :P

but I want Robbie

Snow Patrol and Kaiser Chiefs are currently doing their own tours, not sure about the others but seems a bit strange that they would want to be support acts for U2

Unless it's not true

If I don't manage to get tix I truly hope it's the BEPs at Hampden. Just out of badness
I thought positive the last 2 times. It didn't do me any good :manson:

 how much is a subscription for the U2 official site?

Would give you a better chance of getting tickets on the pre sale

Waste of money. They have split the subscribers into 3 groups (only fair I suppose). People who have joined after the tour was announced get lowest priority and could end up empty handed anyway.

Nah, I'll take my chances. I'm really not overly bothered. I've got Brucie to look forward to. If I had to choose between Brucie and U2 I'd choose Brucie as I've never seen him Live whereas I have seen U2, albeit ages ago now.

-_-

I think that music from BEP is zero. -_-

Muse confirm autumn tour, U2 support

UK, Europe and North American dates

Tom Porter, Wed 25 Mar 2009, 3:44 pm UTC

While Muse are still holed up recording that "orchestral" fifth studio album, they've at least confirmed plans to tour this autumn. Among UK and European dates are a string of U2 support slots.

"Full details on the UK and European dates will be announced soon, but for now we can confirm that the band will be special guests to U2 at a number of their North American shows this September including New York on September 24th," reads the official statement.

"The remaining U2 dates will be announced in the coming weeks."

We await "soon" with interest and will keep you posted. In the meantime, lets just consider the notion of Muse's new "classical" direction for a few moments…

^_^

I believe we'll get Robbie

:o

:smoke:
