Caroline Af Ugglas 'flopped' on E-Charts today: only 5th place for the new album, 1 song enter the Top 30 and Snalla Snalla falling down 10 places to the low Top 20.

 

All of this happened due to her announcement of the withdrawal from the contest! The reasons are being kept as a secret.

 

Anyway, this place cannot be empty and once Caroline withdrew - the new song has been confirmed to take part in BJSCXVI from Eledan: after Eurovision 2008 success last year in Belgrade - Boaz Mauda (Israel/9th place), Jelena Tomašević (Serbia/6th) and Sirusho (Armenia/4th) have recorded a new song. And it immediately caused a lot of fuss around it. This song is called "Time To Pray".

 

 

It peaked E-Chart this week selling copies almost 2 times more than the runner-up (and the former 7 consecutive weeks number one) Alexander Rybak - "Fairytale".

 

"Time To Pray" is now more often called "the best Eledaneé entry". It'd make sense because the song is the first one that managed to get to number one on the E-Chart (the official chart of Eledan).

who Kopecka were considering last month :P :kink: what song? the only Antigone song I heard was bland, and was called *checks* 'More Man Than Man'...it's on the Future Pop 2.0 compilation that I have and is one of the only tracks I skip :snif:

 

This is why i hate it when people say they're going to consider so many artists :P actually i think she was mentioned on Popjustice which would explain why Trash was considering her.

 

'Promiscuity' is being considered, it looks like it's not going to be quite as big as MMTM but imo is far better

I didn't like Boaz much, Oro made low top 40 in my chart, Qele Qele went top 10/20 I think, I can't remember actually :rofl: good luck though, hopefully it's a grower :w00t:

It's an instant song for me, just like Fairytale, i.e. i don't think i will get bored of it. :o

few songs are instant for me to be honest...I'm the sort of person that needs to hear something 4 times for it to sink in, hence the ridiculous runs some songs have in my chart :rofl: and the reason I spend hours and hours on BJSC, making sure I have given every song a fair chance...I would never base my votes on one listen or the recap :o

i'm very much like Ben, i can tell by the minute mark if a song is vile. eg. that W song.

 

Normally everything gets at least one run through and my minds pretty set.

Must say I'm with Rich on this, on first listen SF1 2 was lookign pretty hideous to me (inc. Hafi Haff) but after a week of intense listening to most tracks 5 or 6 times I can really see the appeal in a lot of the songs :o

Oh and because I forgot to mention it earlier for some crazy reason, Annie's Anthonio is totally my entry for XIV if it's leaked in time (hopefully no one will get there before me) but just thought I'd throw that out there :P

Yeh the remix is quite luvvable but i just think the original could easily stand out on it's own ^_^
