April 18, 200916 yr :nocheer: i thought Renault had finally got the R29 hooked up alas, Alonso is so light he's barely going to make it round the parade lap -_- Pat Symonds better have something up his sleeve.
April 18, 200916 yr Trulli is looking particularly strong if he can keep up with the Brawns through the opening laps, this could be interesting tomorrow with such varying strategies at the front. Alonso was always going to be light with his hatred of the soft tyre but the car has certainly imporved and so should compete for points imo, Barrichello looks favorite for victory.
April 18, 200916 yr It looks like tommorow may be another pointless exercise for the Scud :nocheer: Ah well, here's hoping Red Bull can smash the Brawns :P
April 18, 200916 yr If Hamilton has a decent start I can see him winning this :( He is fuelled to last till lap 30 which is almost double some of the others at the sharp end With Ferrari having the worst car they have had since the ghatly John Barnard era I would like to see Brawn or Red Bull win
April 19, 200916 yr 11.15pm the Grand Prix is on for me :( This seriously is going to p*** me off. I have two mid terms tomorrow, one at 8am :/
April 19, 200916 yr -_- Piquet still can't keep it on the bloody tarmac. Urgh I wouldn't be much worse than him and I don't even have a provisional driving license!
April 19, 200916 yr He needs to either 1] Learn to drive or 2] Get his Ass outta a Renault, he should be driving a Jordan/Minardi if not a Pizza Hut Delivery Smart Car. What we need is to ditch Piquet, and get Klein. That boy deserves a drive. Great for the two RBR-Renaults at least our Engine is looking good Lol at Ferrari however
April 19, 200916 yr The only comment after this race: LMAO Ferrari, still 0 points  Here Here! :cheer: 2 motor races in one week for me after the F1 it's Indycar tonight. Watching the lady below. Edited April 19, 200916 yr by Euro Music
April 19, 200916 yr BMW is one BIG $h!t, :puke: Poor Nick and Robert, what car they have. It's not last year's Honda in disguise is it?
April 21, 200916 yr  Possibly, with the KERS system added and a different engine. The Beemer isn't very pretty either is it :( I miss the sculpted sidepods and the winglets. You couldn't follow/overtake but the cars were so so so so pretty. The R24/5/6/7/8 were all great looking cars, the 2004 Sauber as well
April 21, 200916 yr It's not last year's Honda in disguise is it? Well, almost, but they will be much better, when they get a new aero package and diffusers. ^_^
April 24, 200916 yr Turns nine and 10 proved particularly testing - Renault's Nelson Piquet Jr was the most notable victim - with many drivers locking up their steering. Can some one please inform me the reason behind this wankstain staying a Renault F1 Driver? I still have not forgiven the moron for going off backwards at turn 1 in Australia and covering me in dust assorted crap from the gravel trip.
April 25, 200916 yr Can worse for the BMW? Disaster for them, especially for Nick's, poor that guy, he never will have the best car in the hands, and show his speed. :( All hope for improvement in Spain. Congrats to Trulli. ^_^
April 25, 200916 yr Here is one for the UK viewers of F1. Anyone think the lead commentator for the BBC, Jonathan Legard is a complete idiot? Some of his "gaffes" have been awful, today for example, he said after Q1. Legard ; "What has happened to Brawn's pace, Button 14th, Barrichello 15th" Brundle ; "No, they order them at the start of Q2 in numerical order" There has been a few others that slip my mind of particular events, he muffled his first line at the first broadcast of the season and often mixes up drivers of the same team. The rest of them though, Brundle, Jordan, Humphreys and Coulthard are extremely good I feel though. Got a feeling though, tomorrow's race will be incredibly dull...

Some of his "gaffes" have been awful, today for example, he said after Q1. I certainly do - get rid of him and put Mark Blundell or Ted Kravitz in his place. There is also this thing about Donnington and Silverstone. If they can't get Donnington instead of scrapping the British GP why not temporarily use Brands Hatch. The facilities are not quite as good as Silverstone but the track is great. They used to alternate the British GP between Brands & Silverstone like they do now with Nurburgring & Hockenheim. I'm going to see A1 GP there next month. Edited April 25, 200916 yr by Euro Music
April 25, 200916 yr I can't stand Jordan, seriously trying to defend that move by Sutil JUST so that he can disagree with DC - Go home old man, bring back Gascoyne. I've always said James Allen was the best guy for the job but for some reason there was a huge anti-Allen movement on ITV so I guess they had to change it. David Croft always seems to know what he's talking about on the practice commentary and on Radio 5 live so I would have happily seen him take a seat alongside Martin. On the other hand, despite his obvious lack of knowledge, John Legard does get excited by the racing and in such makes the viewers excited too which is a feature I think is very important. Martin's monotonous drones may be insightful but often lack enthusiasm. Now qualifying. My money's still on Button for the race, the toyotas are obviously extremely light, they admitted they had an extreme strategy and are expecting the soft tyres not to last very long at all so will obviously get that phase of the race over first. I can't imagine Vettel is too heavy either but both he and Jenson should be able to jump the Toyotas in the stops providing Lewis doesn't hold them up after he inevitably jumps them at the start.
