good seeing the crying scene from jay as he is always the hard man,good episode tonight and good follow up to series 1 i think series 1 was better overall but it was original then and its only natural it would be better but i really enjoyed series 2 and look forward to recieving my dvd so i can re watch them all,,good to see that e4 are repeating series 1 from next week also,

Both series are class. I've not seen series since it aired last year so i'll watch it all again soon.

ya it was a great line by jay....i agree that both series are class and its good they have done very well ratings wise aswell a million viewers nearly every week for it on e4 is a great result

The extra ratings are probably down to its re-run on C4. Its funny when the very first episode got like 200,000 viewers on E4 then a year later it gets a 1m. Smart move by C4.

 

I get the feeling they're going to do 4 series though.

I really really liked the last episode. It was nice to see Simon get with Carly, albeit briefly, and Jay actually fall for a girl and change his ways for a bit. I also loved Will in this one, he had some great lines. All in all, I'm going to watch the first series now <3

i think all 4 boys get great lines and it was nice seeing them somewhere with the girls tonight although it was short lived

I've really enjoyed this series! :o The last episode was absolutely fantastic, was nice to see more emotion from the characters too. Had loads of funny moments too, especially Will sitting the exam hahahaha <3

I went to a club last Friday and Neil & Donovan were doing a P.A there [i touched them yaaaaay ~] - it was asked if there will be a third series, but apparently the writers aren't sure whether there will yet, and atm they're still thinking of any possible ideas. God I hope there is, easily one of the best shows on tv :(

Im really interested to see how the ratings go for inbetweeners now that they are showing it on channel 4, they got amazing ratings for the show on e4 so im hoping they can match those ratings at worst

E4 has reportedly commissioned a third series of The Inbetweeners.

 

According to The Guardian, the series - which stars Simon Bird, James Buckley, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison - will return in 2010.

 

Head of E4 Angela Jain said of the show: "[it has] some of the most beautifully crafted puerile and funny jokes ever seen on British television but also moments of crushing heartbreak, which are all testament to the brilliance of the writing and acting."

 

Earlier this year, the second series made a strong start in the ratings, drawing almost 1 million viewers in its opening episode.
