If you sign up to the newsletter you can get a new demo called "Money Back" which was one of the songs DJ Munro has worked on with her, it's fairly retro sounding but very much a demo in it's current form I think.

In short:

 

She's in the studio, album out 'hopefully' in summer, she's been writing on it for a year.

 

She's been working with Guy Chambers, DJ Munro and The Rural (who have collabed with Beyonce before and have been nominated for a Golden Globe)

 

She's been working on a track called 'Turn To Stone' with Jimmy Hogarth. Also with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis which is a dream come true, gonna be 'HOT HOT HOT'.

 

BIG news is that it's being brought out on Hurricane Records, her own label, which means she can do really cool things, work with people she never thought she would.

 

Touring this year, after the album.

Yes, I'd prefer her as a singer though. She's got such a warm personality. It makes me laugh when she says "my boy DJ Munro", it sounds far too urban to be our Bev. :lol:

I think the bits from the studio we see are all the same song and then at the end they play the new demo. (Money Back) ^_^ I agree though, it's sounds awesome, can't wait to hear it properly.

I think that's the question on people's lips. The last album had poor sales, so she could have been dropped. On the other hand, people having been leaving Parlophone a lot lately. I think Kylie and Coldplay we're at least rumoured to be leaving them, if not already?

 

On her Twitter profile she's been saying this album is 'contemporary, but still soul' which sounds promosing. Soul isn't exactly the biggest genre in the charts however. :(

True. We've been hearing from Bev and DJ Munro that the album is gonna be 'HOT', hopefully it's not just hype. Some people are speculating that it might just be a reference to a demo she did called "Too Hot" (DJ Munro produced) a short clip of it leaked apparently and the fansite seems obsessed with it. I haven't been able to find it though. :(

Well they're hardly going to call it Cold are they.

I will, apparently it's only 45 seconds long. But it seems like she likes DJ Munro and the track just didn't fit on the last album. We might get it in full.
