I was kidding. Sort of. Do you think a gay guy would ever win the Apprentice though? Ruth was lesbian and blatantly should've triumphed in the final.
I've been wondering though if Ruth losing out was more to do with personality. Although Sirallun makes a point of liking the assertive characters, he never actually hires any of them... Tim? Lee McQueen over Claire Young? Michelle Dewsberry?

WHY let Kate pitch after 'bruschetta is ... always a favourite'

Good on Philip for standing up for Lorraine ... LOL @ Debra's face when SA praised them for winning the task

I can't wait for Debra tonight. I hope she's as binty as ever. :D

OH FABULOUS. I've been away all week, so just watched last weeks ... now it's time for another ride! Waheyyy, I'm so lost in the jet-lag.

Phil the Metro

Why the hell did Paula get fired?! She put that gobsheen in charge of costing and all he did was put water into a pot for 4 hours! bdfosbofudbov! :arrr:

He can talk his way out of death! And he doesn't say "soap" right! "Would yooo lyk to try some soop"

Because Ben isn't a team player! He sits back actually hoping that his team loses (actually aiding and abetting the demise along the way). He did it last week with that monstrosity which he must have known was a loser - but hoped that James as the team leader would get fired. His plan worked this week though ... he sat back - smirking - knowing the cock-up that was made on the Sandalwood essence - yet he didn't step in to save the task.

I can't stand him. He won't win ... but he'll be in until near the end.

By the way - Noors (I never get his name right) team won because of the players ... he was a team leader was useless!

Norma

:snif:

The other team were dire. :/ That soap looked awful. :P

Gutted Paula went. But I didnt want Ben to go. Hes a total tosser but he is so funny :cheer: "soop" Classic

4 weeks in a row now and SAS has made the wrong decision, i guess you could vouch for Anita, Rocky & Maj's firings but firing Paula over that re**** Ben was an absoulutely diabolical decision. Though i suppose firing Yasmina would have been worse and it did worry me that it was the way it was heading.

The other team were $h!t though, Noorul was very very lucky, no doubt he'd be a goner if they'd lost.

My ranking's so far are

1. Yasmina

2. Phil

3. Kimberley

4. Lorraine

5. James

6. Howard

7. Mona

8. Debra

9. Kate

10. Ben

11. Noorul

I guess I'm the only one who would have fired Yasmina, tonight.

(Goes to run and hide).

This is the best show on TV at the moment.

^ I would have fired Yasmina aswell.

Paula shouldn't have gone, despite her very big cost error- she was properly the best person in her time.

As much as I love Yasmina, I'd have probably fired her as well, though I despise Ben,
Same I would have too. Paula didn't deserve it and Bens hot/funny :)

Seriously? I wouldnt touch Ben with a barge pole :puke2: Phil on the other hand.... (we saw him in his pants on you fired :kink:)

That was by far the most entertaining episode of the series so far.

And also the most frustrating. I really felt for Paula. She seems LOVELY, I could imagine being quite happy working for someone like her. For what she lacked in accounting skills, she made up for positivity and people skills. It's also a huge shame that she did everything perfectly, apart from that one mistake. Whilst Noorul...VERY lucky.

Her big error, as she admitted on You're Fired, was to not step back after delegating the costing to Yasmina and Ben. Had she done so, it would have strengthened her case against the other two.

Ben is just VILE. Week 4 and he's already becoming a national HATE figure. On the basis of the task alone, I don't think he'd have deserved to go. But I'd still happily have fired him, because let's face it, WHO on earth would want to work with him?

There's no need to be so aggressive in the boardroom, he'd have done better to have toned it down, he'd have been perfectly safe if he had.

As Norma said, he's not a team player at all. Yes Paula should have pushed him a bit more, but Ben did ignore a basic instruction (help with the costing) - as he did last week (keep the product simple!). It all stems from his belief that he is on a higher level to everyone else. Confidence is one thing, but arrogance can destroy a team.

Unfortunately I can see him going a long way.

Noorul...he would make a fabulous sitcom. So woefully incompetent in every area; totally at odds with his pre-contest fight talk. In a way, I'm pleased his team won, because I think TV needs Noorul for as long as it can keep hold of him.

I have weird taste sometimes lol! Oh yes I saw Phil  Now that was worth a few screengrabs!

This episode was amazing. Their reactions when Nick told them how much they'd spent on the Sandalwood, and his calm, "I'll leave you to it then." as he walked away. Aahahahahahah <3.
