'I can see clearly now Lorraine is gone' :kink: Future #1? :P

Nah, I think it will be pipped in the charts by Syco Records Paul Potts & Susan Boyle duet "Barcelona". :P

I love the interviews episode- loved Yasminas reaction to him having the business accounts :kink:

After tonight, I do agree its looking like it will be a Debra V Yasmina final but it could go any way and I really hope Kate can cause an upset :D

Sad Howard went - but he looked absolutely gorgeous on 'You're Fired'. Margaret agreed Sir Allan made a mistake and Lorraine should have gone (as did the other two panellists) and the audience were massive in their support for Howard. Lorraine should have gone.

I'd disagree with Sugar's comment that 'in these times we need risk takers' - I think it is times like this that we do need people who are a little bit cautious.

Glad James is still in though! And he was so funny with some of his off-the-cuff comments on the selling tasks .... 'stop spying ... and start buying'.

Completly the wrong decision. This is now the third time the shopping channel task has prodcued some awful decisions by SAS, Miriam in series 1 and Naomi in series and now Howard aswell. Lorraine clearly should have gone on the basis that really Howard was a much better candidate and that she in general was a bit useless.

Lorraine will clearly go in the interviews, as will James. I really want Debra to go aswell, but im concerned now she could reach the final. My prefered choice would be Yasmina vs Kate, with Yasmina as the winner.

Rank

1. Yasmina

2. Kate

3. James

4. Debra

5. Lorraine

Loving this p***-take. So funny around 2:40 when SAS talks about down below :kink:

^LOL, saw that earlier. Hilarious though the idea of Alex being the first in line to stick his hand up there, is slightly disturbing.

think its debras..... my monies on her now as she is clearly the strongest contestant there...but i hope james wins, hes great!

i agree with norma.... howards playing it 'safe' IS just what you need in this financial climate.

cant understand the support for yasmina or kate, apart from the obvious :) , they simply arnt good enough...... but ive been wrong before!

Sure most people know by now but just incase:

The final of The Apprentice has been moved so it does not clash with the England World Cup Qualifier on 10 June, the BBC has announced.

In a statement a BBC spokesperson said: "We appreciate that many viewers will want to watch both."

On Wednesday the remaining candidates will face the tough interview round, and the winner will be announced in the final show on Sunday 7 June.

Yasmina, Lorraine, Debra, James and Kate remain in the show.

An additional programme - Why I Fired Them - will also be broadcast on Sunday 7 June.

The show will feature Sir Alan Sugar explaining how each week he would decide who would be fired.

Also next week there is a one hour special from 8pm on the final 5. :)

Are you mad! :o

Who in their right mind would employ someone who has proven to be a liar and a bully. In the real office environment her behaviour on the Apprentice would have seen her taken down a "Conduct and Capability" route towards dismissal.

As James said "If you employed her, half the staff would walk out on strike by the end of the week", as she is completely incapable of asking people to do things, she has to order them to do things as if she is the love child of The Terminator and Margaret Thatcher!

I think with the way the editing has been done, I think Yasmina is a certainty for the Final, along with probably Kate, although last night was not a good edit for her.

I think Debra has been kept in the contest for so long because she is the best TV out of the contestants in this entire series.

If the Final is a rumoured final of two, then three will be fired in next week's extended episode:

Hence I predict:

1. Yasmina

2. Kate

-------------

3. James

4. Debra

5. Lorraine

Let's get real for a moment, what sort of message would SirAllun be sending if he employed Debra as his Apprentice, as she has proved she can't be molded! Especially, taking into account her questionable ethics in today's environment of thieving bankers and expense-fiddling politicians it would send an awful immoral message to society if a show paid for by taxpayers gives the prize to her.

I agree with a lot of what you say - it would be awful if someone as despicable as Debra won (however if it did happen it would seem to be a reflection of what life is like - bullies usually do get their way). But on the subject of giving wrong signals - Sr'Alun wasn't too bothered about the message he gave out in last year's final ... employing someone who lied (quite extensively) on his CV.

Still - it is all good entertainment - and as impossible and improbable as it seems - I would love James to make it to the final - I think the editing has been especially cruel to him over the series - only in last week's and this week's has he been made to look a bit in control of himself. Winning is out of the question however .... James is too nice to win.

Norma

Debra can't possibly win, just on the fact that she doesn't appear to be carbon based. She is just horrific, at all times.

I'd like Yasmina to win now, I think.

I agree, Margaret said Debra appeared to have learned something. I disagree with that, I think she was good at selling, but she always was. She still spoke to Yasmina and James like $h!t about being project manager.

I think the right person went. Lorraine is actually the person who has lost the least amount of tasks, and at this point in the competition you are looking at 10 weeks, not one. Howard has had a couple of bright moments but has otherwise been largely too quiet and cautious.

Next weeks looks good - the clips for Yasmina weren't great - I hope she doesn't go though as I'd quite like to see her win (as Lorraine won't!). But then again, there were no clips of Lorraine being shown up. Either she does okay, or something REALLY bad happens and they are saving it!

I wouldn't trust the previews, they won't want to give much away :P Debra is either going to charm them silly or get horrible feedback, I can't imagine any of Sir Alan's hard-faced colleagues sitting on the fence with her...

At the end of the day though, its not like Sir Alan will be sharing an office or even having to meet with his 'apprentice' at all most likely - so he can choose the most awful, bad mannered, bitchy, lying, scumbag, useless tool he likes. The important thing is that 'good viewing' is achieved. I think this whole show started off with good, true intentions, hence series 1 and 2 had people who probably truly wanted to win and go and work for his company (and actually were good enough to do so). Since then it has all been about what makes good telly.

I dunno, every year there has been a couple of really good strong candidates. Claire last year, Kate and Yas this year.

The only person i can think of who wanted to win it for winnings sake would be Katie Hopkins.

To me though, Claire was a poor-man's Ruth Badger and although I like Kate and Yas (they seem like nice people who would actually be nice to work with) I hardly think they'd set the world alight with their skills.

I don't think we'll ever get another Saira Khan or Badger.
