I'm slightly surprised actually, it's very good. Quite a few songs are as good as Outta Here, possibly better after a few listens!

04.0 / Admit It / Dreadful. Should've been a reject.

09.0 / Gravity / Possibly better than Battlefield. Wonderful, classic Tedder.

08.5 / Outta Here / Vg as we all know!

08.0 / Love Dealer / First few seconds were a bit 'wtf is this?!' but it soon becomes poppier. V catchy.

08.0 / Gravity

08.0 / What If

07.0 / Memories Turn To Dust / Timbaland produced?

08.0 / Getting Over You / This sounds Timba-ish too. It's got quite an old-school vibe (relatively-speaking; as in, R&B from 2000-2002)

08.0 / Just Can't Have It

07.5 / The First Thing

08.0 / Casanova / I don't even care that this is generic, it's really lush and pretty.

09.0 / Bigger Than The World / HOW summery and sweet is this? Very.

07.5 / Sad Symphony

Vg.

It's OK, nothing great. It's gonna be one of those albums where I have to be in a particular mood to listen to it :(

What about What If Jonjo?

Agree about Casanova. Did not like after first few listens.

oh i seem to have an unusual love for this compared to everyone else :heehee:

I'm super impressed! Every song is better than the clips.

1. Admit It - Nice album opener but it sounds a bit messy. Still decent though but I fear they will make it a single when there are much better. 7/10

2. Victim - Tedder strikes gold again! Amazing production and one of his trademark great bridges. Love this. 10/10

3. Outta Here - Still love this. Really hope it's a worldwide hit. 10/10

4. Love Dealer - Agree with Jark, starts off a bit odd but then turns into a fab song. 9/10

5. Gravity - Really like the production of this and the song is great. It's far too long though, could have cut it down a lot. 8.5/10

6. What If - One of my faves on the album. Strings are my favourite instrument and this is full of them. Love it! 10/10

7. Memories Turn To Dust - So much better than the clip of it. This has the best ending in the world! The production is so epic. 10/10

8. Getting Over You - Really didn't like this from the clip but the full song won me over. Not my favourite but still a decent song. 7/10

9. Just Can't Have It - One of the best and less generic lyrically. Well sung too. 8/10

10. The First Thing - Nice to have a change of pace and no heavy beats like the other songs. Bit bland though, she needs to do more vocally to sell a slow song. 6.5/10

11. Casanova - So generic and meh. A Justin duet should have been a lot better than this. 4/10

12. Bigger Than The World - Very cute song. Pretty production too. Could have done with being shorter I think. 7/10

13. Sad Symphony - More strings! 7.5/10

Sad there is no Rescue Me, Follow My Lead or Eyes For You. :( Hopefully they appear on other editions.

I'm really enjoying this album  There's a whole lot of feel-good summery pop on there. I don't like her voice so much on ballads but it seems like they recognised her vocal strengths are in mid-tempos. :D
I havent done my review yet due to the lack of time and me generally not being bothered but Admit It is  A beauty of jazzy pop

To be honest... i've been following her on Youtube for years until she was signed by Justin, bought Enrique Iglesias tickets and found out she was supporting along with Alicia Dixon and was absolutely made up...

I'm not denying she hasn't got a belter of a voice... but I really wasn't too impressed with her album tracks she sang... really, really disappointed...

Just do a search on Google Blogs where it's easy to find.

OK, so I downloaded this and I think some of the production is neat, but NOTHING stands out. It's amazing how average this record is. Everyone's pimping "Outta Here" and while it's good there's just so little life to the track.

There are some killer beats on the album, though.

Eyes For You ended up being a bonus track... weird since she plugged it so much
Wow great the single made #2 and album top 10. :)

I was 'worried' that the single wouldn't make the top 10 after the small 14-12 climb last week..! Hopefully it can stick around for some weeks, just like the album. The single also enters the Belgium charts @c #46 this week. Really curious if she can have some succes in other countries to!

And I decided to buy the album yesterday. Sounded 'ok' @ first listen, but growing on me with each spin! The biggest 'problem' for me is the fact that you get a 'been there, done that' feeling listening to it. At times it sounds like a FSLS part 2, sang by a woman. That doesn't take away the fact that there are some really nice songs on the album, she co-wrote a lot of songs and it sounds great for a 'Dutch debut album'. Hopefully with a new album she can develop more her own style. For now I give the album around the 7/10 mark.

Not sure if this is known already but some press today for Esmee saying the single is released here on August 15th :cheer:
