Agree with Grimley about Urban Hymns. Rubbish apart from the hit singles.

You said it before I could mate..... God, but wasn't "Bittersweet Symphony" just THE most bloated, pompous pile of cack ever written in the whole of Britpop....? :puke2: Everybody in my work was just totally raving about it, and I was just like, WTF??? Are you kidding me.....?

Hmmm...I still really like "The Drugs Don't Work" though

Sorry man, I find that one even more boring and tedious that BSS.....

Dude, seriously, listen to The Verve when they were just "Verve" and Richard Ashcroft was referred to as "Mad Richard"..... Tunes like "All in the Mind", "Gravity Grave", "Blue", "Man Called Sun", "Butterfly", etc just totally FTW compared to the turgid Dad Rock that's on "Urban Hymns"......

Even don't want to blame Ray Of Light, Blackout, Rumours again and again.

Sugababes - Angels With Dirty Faces.

Only two good songs (Stronger and Shape), all another album tracks are awful.

All Kylie Minogue's albums from 21th century. Don't know why I bought them, most possible a prices were very cheap.

^ love Stronger by Sugababes.

An album I regretted buying was Raw Like Sushi by Neneh Cherry, however I do love Kisses On The Wind from the album

Ray of Light is amazing.

My "Song Of The Year" in 2002. It was the first Sugababes single, which I loved.

Hunky Dory by Rachel Stevens. First CD I ever donated to a charity shop within a month of purchase.

Rihanna's second album A Girl Like Me was pretty damn woeful (I guess 8 years ago can be considered retro now?), I took it back and got it replaced with Fall Out Boy. Those were the days.

I rarely buy albums any more, compared to back then. 10 a year at best these days.

I regret buying Grace by Jeff Buckley which I see is back in the album chart after being cheap on Google Play. I got it cheap when Alexandra Burke covered Hallelujah but that's the only good track on Grace. The rest is a cure for insomnia. If anyone wants the cd then you're welcome to it.
Dream Brother is my favourite song on Grace. I do think the album is a little overrated.

I'll listen to that song again then.

Take That, now what was that album called? The one with "Shine" on it. Wishing I'd just downloaded "Shine" instead.

I don't think it's a bad album, it's just not my cup of tea really.

one of the Manic Street Preachers later albums......hated it from the first play

Bought Bat Out Of Hell III - The Monster Is Loose on day of release and regretted it as it wasn't very good. The original is by far the best and the second is good but too long really.

Didn't buy it myself but my parents brought me back Tubular Bells II from America. Played it once but wouldn't again as the first is the original and best.

REM's "Automatic For The People" was ok in 1992 but as soon as 1992 had gone Michael's voice really started to grate especially in "Everybody Hurts" and I really used to like "The Sidewinder" but again it now really grates.
