Tinashe Comes On Over to Nickodonia

 

The Great Kingdom has picked what it is calling 'the most significant Shadowan entry since Lights'. Not too much pressure on Tinashe then?! He is the first male to be sent by the Kingdom since BJSC VI and his carnival stylings are also very different to anything before him but will the song contest be accepting of all this change?

 

As always Nickodonia has been picked as one of the nations whose opinions matter most and so it is only fair that Tinashe hould kick off his world tour here! Before kicking off his show he commented on the chosen Nickodonian entry; 'Wow! Joanna is pretty cool. She's really different and I like that. Totally stripped back!'. Inspired by '81' Tin played a quick acoustic version on his single 'Mayday' before performing his BJSC entry 'Come On Over' mixed by Kissy Sell Out.

Nickodonia Confirms Joanna Newsom for xxiv

Joanna Newsom will represent FNT Nickodonia at the upcoming bjsc_xxiv contest with her new track '81', this is somewhat of a risk as the song is far from a conventional bjsc track, however last month the country managed to secure 12th place and a sizeable 90 points with singer-songwritr Leddra Chapman and her unusual brass led compisition, so another veer off the path of bjsc winners beckoned as the FNT swap harpsichords for harps and hope that Joanna Newsom can get them into their third successive final.

Joanna secures 5th top 20 finish

 

Last night Joanna Newsom defied the odds to finish 17th in BJSCxxiv with an impressive 74 points, becoming the fifth artist to take Nickodonia into the top 20 following Velvet [3rd], Polly Scattergood [20th], Annet Artani [18th] and Leddra Chapman [12th]. Now the race is on for a third consecutive top 20 and the torch is passed to Romanian pop star Claudia Cream with her club banga 'Obsession For You', can Nickodonia score a second top 10?

The way the contest is going these days :P I think you might be right! Male entries are far more popular than they used to be, but I think females still have the edge.

They always have I think :kink: So when times are changing, it's important to follow along with it :kink:
