does any1 know what there plan is in USA?? they are releasing there?Right?

I read somewhere that they get to release in the states only if Sweet 7 does well in the UK.

Yes that's why she has so many writing credits on Sweet 7.

It's quite clear that Quiche has been the head of the group since Reel Gurl left. She may not have writing credits but she most certainly was the one that pushed the group in this direction. I mean for the last 2 albums i can't really imagine amelle or beige being the ones pushing the group creatively. It'd be really sad if they do end up having success with this album because they would owe a lot of that to quiche.

In an interview they said they signed to the american label to use their songwriters and producers and that they hadnt been asked to release in america. But they would love to be asked. I assume if Sour 7 does really well they probably will release in america. But given the current state of the group I wouldn't hold my breath.

Actually Keisha probably geared the C&S sound. The labels wanted the group to go in this musical direction.

I was going to say, Keisha has the most writing credits on that album, she kept going on about how much she loved it at the time. Amelle seems to be the one who would want to head in this direction most out of them, but this was clearly up to the label.

did anyone see the xtra factor today?? Heidi rang up and was chatting to Holly and the judges! Simon was really catty to her though lol. Maybe someone can find a clip of it??
Yeah I saw it! He said something like 'are you lot alright now? know theres been a few problems' along those lines anyway. And then Holly cut her off at the end :o was well rude!

It's not just writing the songs that equate driving the group.

I emailed a few of their producers for this record, and they all said they're sweet, fun girls but Keisha was the one to get them doing sh*t and pushing the barrier.

We'll see.

why has the album been put back? I dont think thats a good sign. It would have sold better over xmas and ok it might not have hung around, but they could have released a new single during the new year to help the album recover.

The thing is it wouldn't have sold well over Christmas. If Change, C&S couldn't, Sweet 7 wouldn't have. IMO I think the release should be a couple weeks before Feb 22nd though.

I'm hoping to see this next year "Sweet 7 biggest selling album of 2010" :)

Yes it has. In4Merz are the ones who reported it and they get their info straight from management.

Yes, but the difference here is that the ladies have all eyes watching them & all ears listening. With due respect, there wasn't much going on with those eras as far as hype is concerned. They just came out and did their thing, whereas with this era they do. There's a new member, new sound and new image. So I think it would have sold well - especially as this latest single seems to be doing alright so far.

But I guess we'll never know now.

The Album will go straight to No1 In feb. There is not a lot of competition around that time and they will have released 3 good singles at that stage. Get sexy went to no 2. About a girl will be top 5 and Wear a Kiss will be top 10 for sure

I think it's quite clear now that Sweet 7 is never coming out. What could be the reason for a further month's pushback? If they want to record more they could easily do it in time for a February release. I reckon at the very best it'll get a low-key digital-only release or something like that.

More likely perhaps is that they'll release an updated GH with the singles from About You Now through to Wear My Kiss tagged on.
