Well on CF+SL didn't it say something like "The best selling girlband of the 21st century" on the sticker, now the Aloud have beat that and are now slightly ahead, the Suga's new tagline seems to be "The UK's most credible girlband". They should give it up, each are amazing in their own way.

The thing is, The babes are actually the biggest selling Girl band of the 21st century.

 

GA have not outsold the babes yet nor will they ever in the UK and lets not forget that the Sugababes have sold more than 7copies of their albums outside the UK&Ireland.

 

Actually at the last count about a month ago Sugababes were still ahead by a few thousand, and of course that lead is going to increase massively now.

Given that Get Sexy is doing well on club play, i say were on for at least 500k for the first 2 singles coz About A Girl is obv gonna be huge it's too epic not to be. And the album with luck should rake in at least 600k here. If they go stateside and crack it, WWsales could break 5mil very quickly for this era

All of the Babes songs that in my opinion deserved to do really well, didnt. And i think Get Sexy deserves to do well.

Ugly did sell well, but to be quite frank. It should have sold at least half a mil if not the full million 1]for being MutMut's final hurrah and 2]for being such a powerful emotive inspirational track that really does say even though you are being bullied, it's ok, it's not your fault, you are special in your own way, you are the same as everyone else and they are only jealous of you

Great that the album is being pushed back to 23rd - JLS and Robbie can fight it over on the 9th now.

 

Just checked on Amazon, and it seems Susan Boyle is being released on the 23rd too - could change though. Hopefully it does.

I like Ugly the song but in the video i cant help but get the feeling the girls are clearly thinking half the people in front of them are freaks.

'Ugly' was one of their worst singles ever, the backing track sounded like Band Aid 20.

 

I agree that 'Easy' deserved far more though.
