Pages 7-8 on this thread always make me laugh when seeing peoples initial reactions to the album artwork for this.

 

I still personally love both covers. The blonde haired cover especially feels like an iconic part of pop music culture now and I think lretty much anyone could point it out.

How can anyone not find the artwork incredible!? I can't remember my initial thoughts on it but for me it is pure art. Such a bold image for what was only her 2nd project since debuting! She was not playing.

I think that's the one the "horrified" comments were in reference to, as that was definitely the first one we'd all seen.

the others are so dull and boring and really if i wasnt a fan, the would not inspire me to buy the album.

she doesnt look 'gothic' in the one with the blonde hair, she looks like a toilet brush. oh well, i just think they are dull and boring and will not draw people in to buy them off the shelf

I know right! So bold. I love her artwork through both The Fame and The Fame Monster they were so Artistic for a new artist. The album booklets contain some gems too.

 

Born This Way as well has some iconic shoots. The cover itself not being amongst the best but I use the motorbike cover for my iTunes library as it is something only Gaga could really do :lol: :lol:

 

It’s so funny reading Gaga threads on here and seeing comments from when news was first announced I swear in The Fame album thread people were calling Poker Face a bad single choice :lol: thankfully she didn’t take notice of BJ back then! :lol: I often do this on threads when I’m bored I didn’t really join the forum until 2017 but I definitely remember always being drawn to the blonde haired cover as I received a hand made drawing of it from a close friend for my 15th birthday they made it into like a CD too it’s something I’ve always kept all these years later so that covers so special for me :wub:

I read the comments and it is hard to see how either artworks received quite so much vocal hatred. Perhaps more simple than people expected but how are they actively awful?

 

Just read the full list, lmao at 'If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late' by Drake at #22 ahead of 'Rumours', 'True Blue' and 'Aladdin Sane'.
