Lady GaGa happy being single with her vibrator

Popstar Lady Gaga has revealed that her hectic schedule might give her little chance of finding a new man. However, ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker admits she is finding other ways to relieve the tension of being a single girl.

“I am single and a workaholic and very lonely,” the Sun quoted her as saying. “But I’m good [^]. Me and my vibrator are very happy,” she added.

Meanwhile, Michael Bolton has teamed up with the 23-year-old singer as she helped pen songs for his forthcoming new album

Lady GaGa announces Australian tour

Lady GaGa has announced that she will return to Australia next year for a national headlining tour.

The pop sensation, who toured Australia earlier this year as the support act for The Pussycat Dolls, will play six shows around the country in March and April.

The ‘Poker Face’ singer previously admitted that she has a soft spot for her fans down under, saying: “Coming to Australia is a real treat because everybody is so in love with pop music here.”

Lady GaGa will kick off her Australian tour at Hordern Pavillion in Sydney on Wednesday, March 17 before travelling to Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and finishing at Challenge Stadium in Perth on Friday, April 2.

Tickets for the new arena tour will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, September 16.

Lady GaGa not embarrassed by Hermaphrodite rumors

Lady GaGa insists she isn’t bothered about rumors she has a penis and a vagina. The Poker Face hitmaker says that her success has made her super-confident — and she’s not embarrassed about anything.

“I’ve sold four million records in six months,” GaGa told an Australian radio station. “I’m not embarrassed about anything.”

When asked again about the hermaphrodite rumors, the singer responded, “My beautiful vagina is very offended. I’m not offended — my vagina is offended.”

Lady GaGa: “I was in a room full of dicks today”

http://i30.tinypic.com/2lmnubc.png

lady-gaga.net - “I was in a room full of dicks today,” Lady Gaga announced after spending part of the day working as a day trader at BGC, the brokerage firm Cantor Fitzgerald rebuilt following the World Trade Center attack, raising money for its annual celebrity charity event. Clad in a demure — for her — YSL pantsuit, Gaga worked the phones, singing “Poker Face” to floor traders in exchange for more money and then telling them she loved them. “This was a very intense environment, and I was okay,” she said. “We did some pretty massive trades.” Gaga was raising money for Mercy House, a charity that supports young women and families in the South Bronx. The charity is close to her heart, she said, partly because her best friend from high school runs it. “She was the girl in school who, no matter how many girls made fun of me or didn’t get my eccentric style or my ambitious personality, she always stood by me.” Plus, it doesn’t hurt to take a break out from Fashion Week: “Vanity is only skin deep,” she said.
My Bare Lady: How Lady GaGa out-skanks the competition

"I’ll just come out and say it: Lady GaGa is pretty skanky. That might sound harsh, but there are some facts we all must face: the girl is no fan of pants, for one thing, and with lyrics like “I wanna take a ride on your disco stick,” she’s just subtle enough that her meaning is lost on potted plants. And while she’s consistently denied the — awful — rumors that she is intersex, the mere ubiquity of those stories says a lot about her brash sexuality. (After all, would anyone have even paid a passing glance at a story about Taylor Swift having some more masculine body parts?) Lady GaGa is crass, inappropriate, and overly sexual.

She is also completely awesome.
Make no mistake, all of the above is true. Yes, her outlandish behavior can often come off as calculating, and sometimes it’s not nice to have a front-row view of another person’s crotch. But no matter how canny she may be, her antics remain captivating. Born Stephani Germanotta, GaGa went from a virtually unknown New York-based DJ to a chart dominator in less than a year. She’s written songs for Britney Spears and the Pussycat Dolls. Four of the singles off of her first album reached the Billboard top five. She is only twenty-three. Her lyrics — which all concern fame, sex, and money — may sound at times like spam emails (”We’ve got a red light pornographic dance fight systematic honey”), but damn if they’re not catchy.
So what makes Lady GaGa different from, say, Christina Aguilera? After all, both are blond, both can actually sing, and both have a fifty-percent chance on any given day of being mistaken for drag queens. And Aguilera had to respond to allegations that she intentionally copied GaGa’s style in the video for her last single. My Bare Lady: How Lady GaGa out skanks the competition.

http://entertainment.nerve.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/lady-gaga-vma.jpg

But let’s put it this way: remember Christina’s “Dirrty?” In the video, Aguilera dances in a grimy wrestling ring, surrounded by sweaty men and clad in the skimpiest leather pants on earth. It’s pretty awful to watch, even today. Perhaps it took pop-starlet skankiness to a new low (for its time, anyway) but the schoolgirl-to-streetwalker act was de rigueur by that point. So why did Aguilera come off as desperate while GaGa seems so captivating?
Maybe it’s because GaGa is a skank with a brain. (Kind of like a hooker with a heart of gold.) While it took years of our attention to grind Britney down from virgin to whore, Lady GaGa arrived as a fully formed oversexed pop kitten. Not content to wait for her what-was-she-thinking moment, she walked around like a space-age hooker from day one.

Lady GaGa accepting her award at the 2009 VMAs.

When she accepted her award for Best New Artist at the Video Music Awards on Sunday, she was covered, knees to head, in red lace, looking like an S&M fever dream of the White Witch.

GaGa likes to call herself a performance artist instead of a musician. It might be pretentious, but it’s actually kind of an inspired take on our pop-music universe. After all, would you call the Pussycat Dolls musicians?
The endless stream of young women who autotune their way into fame may not sing very well, or write their own music, or play an instrument. All we require is that they entertain. If Britney Spears can’t quite hit all the notes, do we care as long as she writhes around on stage with a bright yellow boa constrictor?

GaGa seems to have the game figured out and exploits our gaze with shocking precision. She’ll give us over-the-top sexuality, ridiculous outfits, and salacious rumors. It’s what we still love to see from our other celebrities, but GaGa’s obvious cunning subverts the guilt we feel while watching a young woman’s life melt in front of the cameras, allowing us to simply enjoy the show."

Never. Insult. The. Vagina.

Lady GaGa reportedly forced a journalist out of a press conference in Germany after she raised a question about her gender.

The 'Paparazzi' singer was promoting her new range of headphones in Berlin when Collien Ferndes, a reporter on German TV channel Viva, asked: "I love your Marc Jacobs outfit, you look great. I do have one question for you though - have you got a penis or not?"

Responding angrily, GaGa said: "My wonderful vagina is very insulted by this question."

Fernandes was promptly removed from the press conference by bodyguards, but later insisted that it was a fair question.

"I don't really understand the fuss. It's obvious someone would ask her this question after the picture was all over the news," she said.

The 23-year-old has previously acknowledged that she looked like "a t*****", adding that she thought it was "amazing".

Vera Wang calls GaGa’s style “fascinating”

http://itsnotmywedding.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/vera-wang-1.jpg

Vera Wang has been an icon in the fashion industry for quite some time now, but that doesn’t mean the style veteran isn’t constantly being mesmerized by all the new fashionistas emerging on the entertainment scene. Most notably these days, it’s Lady GaGa who has all of the fashion world buzzing, including Wang.

“I think she’s always been original. I think she knows who she is,” she told MTV News at Fashion Week in New York. “I think she’s truthful to herself. I like people who are truthful to who they are and express who they are. I find that fascinating. … She knows what she’s doing for her.”

'GaGa's paid her dues' says Akon
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_t-VUzRW6zxc/ST-OpLC2iWI/AAAAAAAAAFs/0_5Mso3HaWs/s400/lady_gaga.jpg

After winning three Moonmen at the 2009 VMAs and becoming the first artist in a decade to debut with two #1 singles, Lady GaGa has definitely certified herself as the breakout star of the year.
Akon, who signed GaGa to his Kon Live Distribution label in 2008 and balls her his "franchise player", said his protégé's success is the result of a lot of hard work.
"She's definitely paid her dues," Akon told MTV News. "She's been through all kinds of strings and ropes. She's jumped through all kinds of hoops. It was just a matter of time for her. You can't stop the truth. If that's what it is, that's what it is. At the end of the day, she's one of those rare finds. A diamond in the rough that you just have to polish out and let shine, and that's exactly what she's doing."
"It's GaGa all day," Akon enthused. "GaGa, at the end of the day, is the truth. I love her. Right now my heart is with GaGa."
Lady GaGa Is Billboard's 'Rising Star' For Women In Music Event

http://mob171.photobucket.com/albums/u281/utopian001/subscribe_logo_small.gif

Lady-gaga.net - Billboard announced today (Sept. 28) that pop sensation Lady GaGa will be named its "Rising Star" at the 2009 Billboard Women In Music Event, taking place on Oct. 2nd in New York City. The Billboard Rising Star Award rewards artists that have achieved a great level of success and had proven to have vast potential in the early stages of their career.
Lady GaGa is the undisputed break-out star of the year for many reasons, including the success of her debut album, "The Fame" (Streamline Records), which has spawned four Billboard Hot 100 hit singles, including "Just Dance" and "Poker Face", both of which reached #1 on the tally. "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" are also #2 and #8 in the best-selling digital songs of all-time, with 4.6 million and 4 million downloads, respectively.
GaGa recently became the third artist in the history of the Mainstream Top 40 Airplay Chart to have three #1 singles from a debut album. "The Fame" is also the best-selling album from a debut artist for 2009, with 1,441,000 copies sold in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In addition to writing all the tracks on her album, Lady GaGa has previously written for the likes of Britney Spears, The Pussycat Dolls and New Kids On The Block.
"Lady GaGa is one of those rare examples of a truly unique artist with mass appeal," says Bill Werde, Editorial Director of Billboard. "She has established herself as one of today's top songwriters, and the whole word is waiting to see what her next outrageous but brilliant move or style will be. It is that ongoing anticipation combined with her success that makes her a rising star."
The Billboard Women In Music Event celebrates the most powerful and talented women in the music business, and is held in conjunction with the much anticipated publication of Billboard's Women In Music Power Players List - recognising the top female executives who are leading the industry with their artistic and business vision.
Billboard will also honour Grammy Award-winning artist and pop culture icon Beyoncé with the coveted Billboard Women Of The Year Award at the event.
Lady GaGa: First Lady

http://cdn.sheknows.com/celebsalon//2009/09/lady-gaga-hairstyle-697x1024.jpg

Lady-gaga.net - Lady GaGa is being honoured as Billboard's Rising Star, but it seems more accurate to call her a skyrocketing star-of music, videos and fashion so avant garde that it sometimes involves the wearing of Muppets. Her album "The Fame" is the best-selling debut album of this year in the United States with 1.3 million copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It has spawned four top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hit singles, including two No.1s: "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". And it's the 5th-biggest-selling album of the year overall, behind only Michael Jackson's "Number Ones", Taylor Swift's "Fearless", the "Hannah Montana Movie" soundtrack and Eminem's "Relapse".

Even though Stefani Germanotta paid her dues performing on the Lower East Side and in NYU college bars, the artists known as Lady GaGa seems to have sprung onto the pop stage fully formed and fully fabulous. But GaGa isn't just a talented recording artist and compelling performer. She's an accomplished songwriter who has licenced tracks from "The Fame" to more than 100 placements and has written for such names as Fergie, the Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and New Kids on the Block.

A few months ago, she struck a deal with Steve Stoute's Translation branding agency. Rather than connect her with brands, Stoute says he'll treat the performer herself like one. "I don't just want to do deals for a check with her," Stoute told Billboard. "She's at the point where she's bigger than life. She has transcended music."

GaGa has become known for wearing larger-than-life outfits, but she's not just trying to get attention. She's making a statement about living the glamorous life and defining her own identity in the public's ever-expanding field of vision. "There are all these places where art and self-expression and clothing can intersect," she told Billboard. "When I word the Kermit outfit [a blouse and hat made of plush dolls], it was a commentary on wearing fur."

GaGa's visual aesthetic can also be seen in her videos, which were nominated for nine awards at the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards, including best new artist, video of the year, best female video and best pop video for "Poker Face". She went home with the trophy for best new artist and a solidified reputation as a live artist after giving a performance that recalled both early Madonna and the movie of Stephen King's "Carrie".

GaGa's year isn't over yet. On Nov. 24 she'll release "The Fame Monster", a double-disc repacked version of her debut album that will include several new songs, including her 5th single, "Bad Romance". And after that, who knows what she'll do-or wear-next.
After performing on Saturday Night Live last night, Lady Gaga made an appearance at the Bootleg Party at Santos Party House in NYC. She showed her support for the National Equality March taking place October 11th in Washington D.C.

http://byfallenangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/gossip-girl.png

New York Daily News - Even Upper East Side queen Blair Waldorf would deign to take the downtown 6 train if a Lady Gaga gig was the reward. The “It” singer is filming an upcoming episode of “Gossip Girl” Tuesday on the lower East Side, in which she’ll perform as herself, natch. Gaga will be joining the ranks of fellow celebrity guest stars Tyra Banks and Hilary Duff, who will also be making cameos on the hit CW show this season.

Lady Gaga set for Jingle Bell Ball

Lady Gaga is to headline Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball.

"These five acts show what top talent is attracted to Capital's big balls!" said Global Radio's Richard Park.
