On the 23rd May 1998, Ruff Drivers entered the chart at #19 with 'Deeper Love'.

The following week of the 30th May 1998, B.B.E. charted with another song called 'Deeper Love'. Has this happened any other time? Where the same title of a song has appeared at the same position the following week by a different artist?

If to talk about the Top 40, Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah entered, the following week, Alexandra Burke's Hallelujah debuted.

But not at the same position, which I think was the OP's point.

and also not with the same song which was the OP's point.

Same song though; they all climbed to No1.

Well thinking of 1979:

Abba were knocking around the top ten with the double A of "Angel Eyes" backed with "Voulez Vouz". Then, all of a sudden Roxy Music appeared in the same month (August), with a different song called "Angel Eyes". Possibly the most famous occasion that 2 song titles were in the top 20 together.

A close call in 2004:
