February 22, 201114 yr Author How could i forget Tove and Sanna??? :drama: Tove's debut is a really strong pop album. Clearly there is something in the water in Sweden Agnes eventually churned out an amazing album in Dance Love Pop. The Swedish version was a bit too short and had some filler but the UK version is immense. September's new album is absolutely brilliant, and at 19 tracks already long enough. If anything, it would be shortened for the UK as I'm sure we wouldn't get the 5 bonus Swedish tracks (which are all great ). I've decided that I prefer Mikrofonkat to Me & My Microphone now too! Tove's album showed some potential and is a very strong and consistent debut but there are only 2 or 3 really brilliant standouts. Sanna's last album was great and I get the feeling that her new one could be even better from the clips that have surfaced. So across males and females, Sweden probably have about 10 really great pure pop solo artists, which is about 10 more than we have in the UK. Interesting that Darin, Ola, Mans, Danny, Tove and Agnes all come from Idol, Sanna and Saade are constantly propped up by MF which leaves September as the most bona-fide proper organic popstar that they have.
