May 17, 200916 yr Seriously, I don't get what everyone is raving about. Firstly, the production is really cheesy. It sounds so 80s and not in throwback La Roux way, more in a "I was created using the cheapest MIDI drum set possible" way. Secondly, the lyrics are ridiculous. I'm thinking that the hook of all Ryan Tedder songs from now on is just going to be the singer repeating a random word over and over. And then there's the "better go and get yer armour on" bit...jesus. I mean, I don't dislike this and it's pretty inoffensive, but people are talking about it like it's the second coming. I wish people would just see it as the cheap and tacky throwaway pop that it is. Ouch.
May 17, 200916 yr Just listened for the first time and i can see me really liking this! its a bit loud though! Edited May 17, 200916 yr by Chris_2k9
May 17, 200916 yr According to her twitter, promo starts next week! I wonder if she's coming to the UK again for promo... she did for No Air which was when I met her, then again for Tattoo which was when I missed her 4 miles away from my house by 45 minutes :( but then didn't for One Step At a Time...
May 18, 200916 yr The song is so catchy! I found myself awake at 5:30 a.m today subconciously singing over and over, 'Why does love always feel like a Battlefield, Battlefield! Battlefield!' Still at number 9 on iTunes.
May 18, 200916 yr Jordin's first album sold 111,930 copies in the UK. Much better than I thought and very respectable considering she only had one hit really. :)
May 18, 200916 yr Greg James' Record of The Week For real! Promo's already started here! I wonder when/if it'll be playlisted.
May 18, 200916 yr For real! Promo's already started here! I wonder when/if it'll be playlisted. There's no doubt it'll be playlisted if it's Greg's record of the week, I'd have thought. Should be within the next two weeks. (That's just a guess though!)
May 19, 200916 yr ^^ i know its bad, i hope when the video, airplay and promo starts it will climb back up. It deserves to be a worldwide #1, either that or #1 in the UK and the US.
May 20, 200916 yr Down to 20... This is baddddd. It's getting good reviews though, Darren Hayes approved on his twitter...
May 20, 200916 yr It has very low airplay, for it was just released, and it already peaked at 4 on iTunes. Not bad at all ^ Daughtry is already down into the 30's.
May 20, 200916 yr Jordin's doing the Got Milk? campaign, yay! Surely that will boost sales. She's confirmed on her Twitter the album's to be released 21st July
May 21, 200916 yr Apparently she confirmed in a Radio Interview yesterday that the album is called Battlefield.
