181 weeks in the UK top 100 for this after its return today at #98

We’ve now managed to get this to chart for 6 weeks (non consecutive) so far in 2020!

I wonder how high we can get this on Chromaticas release week. Realistically speaking I think we can push for a top 75 return that week.

Not top 100 this week.

However her Glastonbury set from 2009 is being shown on BBC 2 on Sunday so that could definitely boost this as her set was entirely from this album given it was her only album at the time

The Fame has re entered the UK album charts at #83

186th week in the Top 100

10 of those weeks have been in 2020 alone

The Fame is at #96 on the UK album chart this week

187 weeks in the Top 100

Can't wait for it top hit the 200 weeks milestone :cheer:

It has grown through the years, still think it's her weakest ALBUM though as some of the stuff is pretty basic if not cringeworthy (Starstruck says hello)

The singles are sublime though!

One of the best debut albums ever!

I love it as a whole tbh. Controversially I’m a stan who doesn’t actually rate this as her worst album (I tend to find that the true fans of Gaga always would rate this as her weakest or if not this then Joanne I wouldn’t say any of those are her weakest sorry ARTPOP).

The Fame has major charm to it though. And as much as I don’t like LoveGame the singles campaign was fantastic. Even then in her debut year her videos were wow moments and there’s live moments and so many memories from this era what standout and make me smile when thinking of them.

I love certain album tracks from this too. Summerboy, Paper Gangsta, Boys Boys Boys, The Fame (the song). Such a good debut.

She’s definitely topped this since both The Fame Monster, Born This Way, ASIB and Chromatica but the memories I hold from this and the impact it made is undeniable. The fact it’s still charted top 100 in 2020 in the UK and now the US is power that it’s one of those legendary albums.
