Glad Jade is still hanging in there - hopefully progress consecutively to B then A list in the next 2 weeks.
that Ronan song is ancient, odd that he put it on his new album

Hopefully :( Few plays of the song on the Radio 2 station in the past week  xox.

Honey Ryder still on B list! ;o I hope they hold it there until the physical is out.. Such an underrated group and to think I only discovered them yesterday. Flawless album, both members of the duo are so talented. Lindsay's voice overwhelmingly goosebumpful, ah <3

I saw them supporting Will Young last year and found them quite boring :snif: they've had two top 40 hits here already but both were down to text marketing schemes, not that they've had any substantial radio support of course so maybe it was the best way for them to get noticed

Won't be played that much for sure :D I think this month the artist is MADELEINE PEYROUX  The so love playing the songs, and they even switched and old very played song with a new one (even if Instead did not have a big success on the Airplay chart  ). xox.

Not that odd really, the whole album is a tribute to his mum, and that was the song that he wrote for her when she died. The single is being released on the 18th May.

I rather think, thats what RONAN (his record co. ,PR etc) wants us to believe.

Those with even the slightest smidgen of cynicism might consider the alternative that so desperate to maintain his fame after the U turn of rejoining boyzone which was a commercial damp squib he's returned AGAIN to his INFAMOUS standard formula of 'churning out ENDLESS bland, non descript cover versions (a la the talentless karaoke monster that is WestL*fe )under some heartfelt pretence' when such a personal tribute could be significantly more unique + sincere by expressing his own peculiar thoughts, feelings and behaviour instead of others clichés rather than some sentiment manipulating mother's day sales gimmick exercise in flogging albums.' :nocheer:

Was the album not for the cancer charity that he set up after his mum died?? i thought i remembered reading that....

Yes it is, some of the profits from it go to the Marie Keating Charity in Ireland and Cancer Research in the UK. So whatever the "sales gimmick" involved, its them who benefit from it's success. Looks like it will go top 5 in Australia and New Zealand this week too, and with their Mother's Day in early May my betting is that it will also top the charts there very soon too.

Just like Enrique and Ciara were played quite a bit of times and no playlist, same happens with this song :D

I was a bit shocked to see Shontelle and Akon on the list

And a small specification... Last week an error occured inside the C List : MADELEINE PEYROUX - Baby I'm A Fool

No problem, took care of the previous thread also, and today you can copy paste the real artist

MELODY GARDOT - Baby I'm A Fool :cheer:

Cheers! xox.
