just as Thatcherism is living memory for the vast majority of Scottish people who will never, ever vote Tory again, and probably much the same thing will happen with the Labour party now because of "Nu Labor"; why do you think the Scottish Nationalists have done so incredibly well in Scotland in the past few years....? The seat in my home town has always been a Lib Dem MSP seat and has for the last 25+ years been a lib dem strong hold. They take half the vote.

 

My constituency used to swing between Torries and Liberal all the time going way back to the 1800's but it's a firm Lib seat now. Only the land owners/St Andrews twats/Richer people in Cupar vote for em now, everyone else has a brain.

 

And i can say that pretty safely seeing as my mother voted Torry last time as far as i am aware :rolleyes:

The problem I have is that those who committed Human Rights abuses during the Apartheid regime were not adequately punished.... The whole "Truth and Reconciliation" thing was just airy fairy bollocks in my view.... Could you imagine someone suggesting that sh!te after WW2 or the horrors of Bosnia....? You gotta be kidding me....... TBH, I'm not really convinced that things have really fundamentally changed in SA.. Sure, the Blacks are in Govt, but the vast majority of SA's wealth is still controlled by the white elites....

It actually isn't, AT ALL. To tell you the truth. In the last census over 30% of the white population left South Africa since Apartheid because of everything they had was literally all given to the blacks

They have everything, they're the elite.. The white people are now the ones standing on street corners begging and the black people are now the ones flooding the rich extensions of towns in their black mercs

Investment and business is now so against white people that it's literally impossible for ANY white person to become rich irrespective of their high quality work ethic, good qualifications, or if you were involved in Apartheid or not.

If the white were elite, the DA would be in control of the government and Apartheid against black people would be still in full force but its not. Its EXACTLY the other way round, the black government being criminals/dumb says everything about it - any type of black person in SA can have anything they want for whatever they want. The opposite for white people, two wrongs don't make a right like Phil and Craig said. It's supposed to be peace not war, are you telling me you'd like an innocent white person like me should suffer just because of the past? Would you prefer the whole world to go to war against the western world now just because of what they did hundred of years ago? :blink:

I'd much prefer a world with equal rights and opportunities, peace and moving on rather than discrimination, war and looking back on the past

I'm sure the majority of the world is long over the past cultural conflicts anyway so payback/revenge is just as bad as what happened in the past - and to bring it to the surface again like whats happening in SA is just criminal and even more criminal than what happened in Apartheid/Western World power obsession

Mandela's main objective was to make EVERYONE BLACK AND WHITE to have equal rights and opportunities and to put Apartheid behind everyone but ever since he left the ANC have done the exact opposite. I wouldn't be suprised if a civil war breaks out here soon, and I sure as hell would fight hard against what the black government has done to my future ..
