Flashforwards bounce in the ratings last week was short lived.

Pulling 5.3m and a 1.6 share for the first half hour which further slid to 4.8m and a 1.5share for the final half hour :(

Lowest ratings yet last night :drama:

Have yet to watch the episode but that's depressing.

Out aprox 4.75 for the hour and a 1.3 share

On the ratings share for the key 16-49 demo Flashforward got pwnd If it some how gets a second season it won't get a third without a miracle

It'll be interesting to see what happens with this now. It's impossible to call without access to all the data the network will have when deciding.

According to my sci fi mag, renewal looks pretty unlikely also V and Caprica are looking pretty shaky.

It does do well oversea's, the question is if it is doing well enough overseas to offset it's plumetting US ratings.

That went out with a bang, I found the series quite good actually. The ending left me a bit confused. Older Charlie says "They found him", does that mean Mark Bedford is alive. And Janice been wheeled out

Another show with a bit of ambition in it and actually requires a bit of audience thought, gets cancelled..... Okay, fine, let's just have every Network show like CSI, NCIS or Reality TV now then, yeah....? Bleedin' stoopid people who cant handle something a little bit off-the-wall and "odd".....

At least the likes of HBO and Showtime dont strangle their shows at birth..... First Dollhouse, now this, it's a bad day for TV drama when shows of this calibre get cancelled... Mind you not that UK is that much better, "Survivors" aint gonna be making a comeback either... Doubtless the victim of the BBC cut-backs and cancelled for no other reason... Great..... -_-

I would hardly call it a great show, it went nowhere quickly. They were trying to replace lost and it failed.

Errr, it bears no resemblance to 'Lost'.....

No plane crash, no island, no "beast", no weird-ass "Time Travelling", no "are they dead or alive" philosophising ..... Okay, it plays with narrative structure a BIT, and goes a bit "metaphysical", but how does that in itself make it anything like "Lost"...??

It was certainly a much better show than the increasingly and boringly predictable "Bones".... Dull, dull, dull, dull..... David Boring-anus has about as much charisma as a wet haddock.... Go back to being vampires Dave, you were actually good at that.....

initally the show was marketing itself as a bit of a replacement for Lost. however I gave up on this show a few episodes in, because it was boring and had poor acting, was doing nothing for me "oh look a baby kangeroo in bad CGI" hardly the Lost polar bear. a few people have recently said they thought it was good if you stuck with it, i dont really have any urge to watch this again but is it worth it?

Oh hai tangent.

I never compared it to lost, i said they had tried and failed to replace lost. If we're making comparisons, Blackout = Plane crash, Black cloaked figure = beast, Will that guy die or not [forgot his name] = are they dead or alive.

There is no doubt that ABC were after a new lost and thought this would have been it.

Why bring Bones into this? Are you a petulant child? I say something you don't like about a TV show you don't like so you immediately have to go after one i do? It also shows how little of the recent Bones you have actually seen as it is far from dull or predictable. The murders are brilliant and the characters have real depth, sure the will they/won't they is being dragged out for way too long, but the actual show is more than one bloody character development. Season 5 has had more than it's lion share of brilliant episodes and is easily the best season since season 2.

Has it really been axed? :( (Not that i like this show, just asking :o I might continue watching it some time but it started really dull, i though it'd be the next LOST :( )

Bones and FF are like oranges and apples. They're shows, but pretty much nothing else is common. If we do bring Bones into it then i'd say it's an excellent show! Truly unpredictable murderers, twists, general storyline circulating around a very interesting person, Dr. Brennan in this case (this idea hardly came up in anybody's minds before), plus it has absolutely LOADS of 'LMFAO' moments (along with a handful of dramatic ones). The cast is brilliant as well!

The show seriously did improve after it's break. The second block had much better pacing and the characters improved so much.

With the exception of Mark Benford I grew to like most of them more than I had done.

It's a real shame they didn't give it another shot with a 2nd series. The final episode was excellent - so much left to explore.

To be honest they never gave this series a far chance to lift off, look at Star Trek: The Next Generation the first season started on a whimper, TNG really took off after the 3rd season, and become a worldwide success.
