December 30, 200915 yr I know it's a pain we have to wait so long but the reason is Fox only green lighted the first thirteen episodes as they weren't sure if it was going to be a hit - so 'Sectionals' was planned as both a mid-season break if it was a hit and as the potential last episode if it was a flop. Hence why most of the character drama was resolved, Sue got her comeuppance and Will and Emma got their happy ending. We have to wait so long, because Fox were playing it safe. I think this is a positive thing because, as they are making the last nine episodes they have the security of knowing that they won't be cancelled, so the writers will have time to develop storylines instead of rushing through plots out of fear they will be cancelled before they can finish the story. Murphy has said that he has enough ideas to last three seasons. As we speak they are recording the songs and filming the last nine episodes of season one. There will be more songs per episode in the second half then there were in the first thirteen episodes. Murphy has also revealed they are writing an episode called 'Original Song' where Mr.Schue will ask the Glee club to come up with a song of their own. Grammy-nominated songwriter Diane Warren (Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" and LeAnn Rimes "How Do I Live") is tasked with writing two ballads for the episode. Murphy decided to do it due to the amount of songwriters asking to write songs for the show. If the episode and songs are popular there may be more original songs, but it won't happen all the time. I can't believe though that they are airing the second half in the same time slot as the final stretch of episodes for the last season of Lost. What an idiotic decision, it doesn't take a genius to know it will have a negative impact on the show's ratings. Who's bright idea was this? Because the show is so popular after the first season is wrapped the Glee Cast will be going on a concert tour of America like American Idol and X Factor do after their seasons finish. The wait will kill me though, I'm so obsessed that it took only a week after I downloaded Don't Stop Believin' and Rehab for me to play them well over 200 times each and only a week for the Glee Cast to become my Top artists on Last.FM. I've just pre-ordered the first album which is going to be released in March even though I listen to all the songs non-stop on youtube anyway. I can't believe Amber Riley was rejected by the producers when she applied to be on American Idol, she has an amazing voice. Her version of And I'm Not Going never fails to send shivers down my spine  I keep trying to get my good friend to watch the pilot on catch-up but she doesn't seem convinced, it will only become interesting to her when it becomes more popular. I'm just waiting for everyone to start talking about this in school a la Skins, Inbetweeners, Misfits e.t.c with constant facebook updates as people watch it  . January 2, 201015 yr I LOOOOOOVE KURT AND SUE. (A love/hate relationship with Sue). My friend tried to diss me last week by saying that Kurt was my mirror image in highschool and then proceeded to laugh. I was all like "OMG I WAS THAT AMAZING?". She was proper pwned. MOVE OVER BRITNEY SPEARS. Glee is my new #1.

January 4, 201015 yr Cheers for the info. :) I do hope they start with ep. 1 No problem. It's been announced that E4 will start Glee with a double bill on January 11th, so my guess is that they will show the re-run of the pilot with the second episode following afterwards. Thanks to Lukuzz, we now know it will air 9-11pm :D IS IT MARCH?! I heard April :( Unfortunately no, it starts again in America on Tuesday April 13th at 9.00pm. It's taking such a long break most likely because of American Idol. They have only just got back into production and are currently holding auditions for actors, dancers and extras. This could be Joe McElderry's chance then ;) Edited January 4, 201015 yr by DanielMiles17
