I'm planning to get to Norway by water from St. Petersburgh. It's really expensive to have a flight

I'm already EXCITED! :heehee:

btw I will be 1 week away from my first exams next year at 29th. :heehee:

ferries are hugely more expensive than flights from the UK to Denmark...there used to be one to Norway but it no longer runs :snif:

I'm not the greatest fan of flying to be honest but needs must

Newcastle to Bergen

Newcastle to Kristiansand

Kristiansand, by train, is about 5h from Oslo, while Bergen is about 6h - 7h from Oslo. BUT the Bergen - Oslo train ride is one of the best in the world (I did it myself), and you go up mountains, passed glaciers (which are there all year round) and through old wooden tunnels. ^_^

I'm a bit of a Norwegian-junkie. All these useless facts need to come out sometime.

you know more than me

I believe those UK-Norway routes were all discontinued last year, unless somebody can provide a link for me suggesting otherwise as that would be my preferred method of travel :o
And how about getting visa? :o I don't know anything about trips abroad to be frank
I have no idea how the visa/passport thing works, but I know you HAVE to show ID when you travel domestic in Norway :kink: and if you're luckey they have safty control on the airports :kink: j/k but it was like that until about 2004 :P

I have flown domestic within Australia 4 times and not once shown ID :kink:

I can officially go to ESC, my exams won't be that late :w00t:

I can fly Lufthansa for £166 or so this site says, but i'm going to try to fly one world and get the frequent flyer points :kink:

£225.60 for BA :/

And i'd have to go via London.

a bit weird given that Edinburgh is pretty bloody close to oslo

I can almost touch Oslo :kink:

I hope the contest will be in Telenor Arena, because then I will be even closer + its probably easier to get tickets :D

I will probably be waiting in line outside "Bilett Service" in Norway ^_^ It looks like the Norwegian people want it to be in Telenor Arena.

I watched TV yesterday and they wanted 17th of May to be a part of ESC so I guess they will send the artist out on something funny that day :kink:

If everyone is serious about going we so should have a Buzzjack meet up.

We will make a history. :kink: The biggest BJ meet up. Who wants to join us?

The official video for Alexander Rybak - Fairytale, a little bad quality on the video

The budget of the actual ESC performance was much higher tbh.

Oh and only 3 men in the video for the song about love is a little weird

:kink:
