'LoveGame' is hideously overrated, its great but nothing compared to 'I Like It Rough', 'Paper Gangsta', 'Boys' etc. This whole single schedule is so disorganised, its annoying, if they already release LoveGame 3rd in Canada then it should be the international 3rd single but whatever.

'Paparazzi' WILL be major, and is by miles a better choice than LG. And Starstruck or I Like It Rough should be the 4th single, so its more varied in sound..

I Like It Rough is terrible and Paper Gangsta is nice but bland IMO.

I think what would have really helped 'Paper Gangster' is a third verse where there is a really long and unnecessary instrumental right before the final chorus. I just love the verses of that song :wub:

I agree. 'I Like It Rough' is probably my least favourite. ^_^

I like I Like It Rough a lot (Erm... :blink:)

But Paper Gangsta is kind of nothing really... though it does kind of sample the Vengaboys :kink:

How can people not like 'I Like It Rough'. .? It's the song with her best vocals on the whole album, she actually really sings well on it and her voice isnt synthesized or anything. And the song as a whole is a complete retro dance masterpiece, it'd even be a no.1 contender if it was released imo..

LoveGame on the other hand, like Jonjo is 'OK'.. I hardly get through half the song without skipping it because I only find the ending of the song worth listening to.. Its really slow as well, and the beat is a bit flat. And I doubt a lot of the public would buy it on first listen cause it is hardly catchy. But thats just my opinion.

I do like ILIR, so don't include me. :teresa:

Have you not heard the bridge of I Like It Rough? "I'm shiny and I know it.." Her vocals have definitely been altered.

Lady GaGa has scrapped plans to release 'LoveGame' as her third UK single, according to a report.

The video for the track was banned in Australia earlier this week due to concerns over its suggestive lyrics, which include: "I want to take a ride on your disco stick".

The American singer has reportedly decided that a similar row in the UK could ruin her chances of scoring a third number one. According to The Sun, she will now release 'Paparazzi' instead.

An insider told the newspaper: "For your first two UK singles to go to number one is amazing and we would like to try and carry that on."

GaGa's debut single 'Just Dance' topped the UK singles chart in January, while her next offering 'Poker Face' followed suit last month.

Her album The Fame also recently topped the UK albums chart for the first time.

Radio 1 are now playing Paparazzi.

They aren't playing it, they are playing Lily Allen. Can you please not post something quite silly like a radio station is playing a song right now. ^_^

I think we was saying in general?

MONG @ 3 O'CLOCKK

There's no way on earth 'I Like It Rough' would make a good single I think. It's one of those songs with an attention grabbing title and a song that doesn't live up to it. :(
It's strictly an album track. People throw around what they think would make good singles, but a lot of the time they're just citing their favourite songs. :heehee:

Papparazzi is definately the best 3rd single choice to be honest though im sure 'Boys Boys Boys/Starstruck' double A-Side would be a great choice

for a final single to finish off the era.

How? :blink:

It's one of THE best songs I've heard in ages tbh. It grabs your attention right from the start and it doesnt rely on a catchy chorus but catchy verses. Her vocals are plain amazing on it, I wouldnt say that she was vocally as amazing on anything else but 'I Like It Rough'. ILIR would be MASSIVE, it certainly does live up to its title, even more. LoveGame and Eh Eh as singles are jokes, because the songs are sort of meant as jokes which definitely strikes a notch down in their quality, where with ILIR its the complete opposite. I really don't see anything else on the album besides ILIR and Starstruck (which is one my least favourites on the album) topping a chart or making a good single..

I Like It Rough is a good song, but it is the weakest on the album to me and it doesn't have the potenital for a single, it wouldn't deserve to be. ^_^

why? Uhm can you people elaborate on your opinions. .? Noones exactly said how ILIR is a weak single, and I'm pretty sure if Just Dance and Poker Face werent singles a bunch of y'all would say they would be weak singles also..lol WELL, that's my opinion but I have really different and eccentric music taste, I honestly cant stand a bland album track being on the radio, choosing something else like Love Game is like U2 choosing Get On Your Boots over Magnificent, really. For 4th single I'd rate it like this:

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| I Like It Rough

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| Starstruck

||||||||||||||||||||||||| BDR, Money Honey, Paper Gangsta, Summer Boy

|||||||||||||||||||| Boys Boys Boys, The Fame

|||||||||| Brown Eyes, Disco Heaven

| Eh Eh, Love Game And that's more on what I think would make a better single than which are my favourites .. She's had such perfect single choices with PF, JD and Paparazzi..messing it up with Love Game and Eh Eh is just tragic AND especially for the immense 'I Like It Rough' :lol:
