Mine too Rob... ;)

Granted, this chart is not without it's dodgy singles, I mean the theme from Prisonor Cell Block H?

"He used to send me roses..."

Classic!

Anyway, these are the ones I know and like!

2 Kylie Minogue - Hand On Your Heart :D After seeing the vid, Kylie apparently burst into tears... it's not hard to see why.

9 Neneh Cherry - Manchild

10 Bobby Brown - Every Little Step

11 Chaka Khan - I'm Every Woman

17 Stefan Dennis - Don't It Make You Feel Good? No Stefan, it doesn't...

18 Donna Summer - I Don't Wanna Get Hurt

21 The Beatmasters - With Merlin Who's In The House?

29 Yazz - Where Has All The Love Gone?

35 Madonna - Express Yourself

Dissapointing, considering I rate 89 highly.

Not a lot here for my liking.....

6 Queen - I Want It All

8 Roxette - The Look

14 Midnight Oil - Beds Are Burning

16 Deacon Blue - Fergus Sings The Blues

19 Transvision Vamp - Baby I Don't Care

25 Stevie Nicks - Rooms On Fire

33 Cyndi Lauper - I Drove All Night'

39 Fine Young Cannibals - Good Thing

I know & like:

8 Roxette - The Look

9 Neneh Cherry - Manchild

12 The Bangles - Eternal Flame

14 Midnight Oil - Beds Are Burning

23 Paul McCartney - My Brave Face - This excellent track which preceded his first tour in a decade was co-writtenwith Elvis Costello. McCartney also co-wrote Costello's Veronica.

25 Stevie Nicks - Rooms On Fire

27 Hue & Cry - Violently (EP)

33 Cyndi Lauper - I Drove All Night

40 Swing Out Sister - You On My Mind

What a totally grim chart!

A terrible, terrible chart from a fairly poor era for music - though things did pick up later in 1989.

I liked the following:

12 The Bangles - Eternal Flame

13 Cappella - Helyom Halib

14 Midnight Oil - Beds Are Burning

21 The Beatmasters - With Merlin Who's In The House?

25 Stevie Nicks - Rooms On Fire

27 Hue & Cry - Violently (EP)

31 We've Got A Fuzzbox And We're Gonna Use It - Pink Sunshine

33 Cyndi Lauper - I Drove All Night

40 Swing Out Sister - You On My Mind

and even then most of these were nothing special. I owned the Midnight Oil, Beatmasters and Cyndi Lauper singles and owning three singles from the charts from this era is good going for me.
