I guess it got huge points from a few countries...the indie crowd have started to have a significant effect on this contest now, I don't think there will be as many pure pop winners in the future...you really need to appeal to the indie and pop crowd to do well now

I think that was mostly down to this contest being smaller and the 'pop crowd' was reduced with the likes of Lorikeet, Ojnoj, Torchwood, MKL, Scherzland, Simondly, JRK-Off etc. not taking part while most of the 'indie voters' (most of them being fans of Sigur Ros) took part or had an outside vote. (Cadbury)

 

I expect the result would have been different if only the finalists voted, we might have had a Numayania victory. :o

Wow, victory for Sigur Rós! Congrats! I didn't enter this spin-off but I think if I would have, I would have entered that song! So I could have won!

Btw the very nice winner but it was kind of really safe to use this song as it was one of the songs hyped on BJ by the 'indie-crowd' very much.
