Series 3 of Torchwood will air from 20th July on BBC1.

I know it's ages away, but is anyone else excited?

I'm still gutted that they killed off Toshiko and Owen.

Finally. Seems we've been waiting decades for this to happen.

Im still pissed they killed off Tosh tbh.

Took them long enough to decide when to air it. Eventually.

Likewise Im not quite over the deaths yet. Still just seems stupid to me to ruin the team like that.

But aside from that, so psyched for a Torchwood Week! :cheer:

I'm curious to see how this will play out with a reduced team. Although Owen/Tosh were pretty good, it does mean more screen time for the others.. Ianto in particular could do with some further character development, and now's his chance with the action split only 3 ways as opposed to 5.
i didn't mind when Owen died but i cried when Toshiko did she was such a great character and actor.
Trailer looks alright, i'll definatly watch, but im not THAT exited if you get my drift here..

Just in case, but aren't Martha and Mickey involved? As they did wander off with Jack at the end of S4 of Doctor Who. Which means the team would be back up to size. Or was it all just a rumour in the end

I don't think either features.

Martha was supposed to be joining the team, but Freema Agyeman accepted a role on Law & Order instead which kind of buggered that up. I'm not sure there were ever any plans for Mickey.

Episode One was previewed last night and reviewers have described it as "brilliant" and "fantastic".

Really can't wait for this..

when is it?

Monday 20th July it begins, and it runs everyday until the 25th.

Can't wait for this. Although I'm still not keen on the idea of the daily format, I love Torchwood, and miss Ianto

LOVING this new trailer.

Weird hearing Gwen talking about the Doctor and why he isnt there during major events in the spin-offs :kink:

Wow, that is the first trailer I've ever saw... I can't wait. This will surely be the best season ever
is that advert for Ireland? Have Ireland not had the first 2 series or something 'cause why do they need to say from the makers of Doctor Who if they have.
I dont think thats Ireland trailer no, I thought it was America's, but I'm not quite sure tbh.
