Brill vid, brill track  Shame they appear to be re-releasing Walking On A Dream as the third UK single... :nocheer:
Great video! It's nice to see they are making an effort with their video's and creating their own 'style'! Not tempted to buy the album, but this track is rather good!

I think all 3 singles from this album are in my top 5 of the year so far.... it's high time Joe Public woke up and made Empire of the Sun the biggest band in the world... this song, and especially the video, is mindblowing.

And for anyone who doesn't own the album - you really should.

I love how they seem to take such meticulous care over all aspects of their work.... the videos have all been some of the greatest of the past few years, they have the most beautiful artwork, their styling must be making the Pet Shop Boys green with envy.... and the music? Well.... fabulous.

Personally I found the album underwhelming.

It is certainly nowhere near as good as the MGMT album; whilst I prefer Nick Littlemore's other outfit PNAU.

Ironically, I don't think there is anything on the EOTS album as good as this:

PNAU ft Luke Steele - With You Forever

And quite frankly all of Empire of The Sun's efforts pale into insignificance compared to this musical gem which I'm delighted to hear tonight that this epic 2008 dance hit (OZ#12) is getting released in the UK during the summer of 2009.

PNAU ft Ladyhawke - Embrace

Come to think about it, I don't think there is anything on the EOTS album that comes close to this old should have been huge indie-pop classic by Luke Steele's former outfit:

The Sleepy Jackson - Good Dancers (2003 OZ#24 UK#71)

Ah great to hear that Pnau are gonig to get some re-releases.

'With you Forever' was one of my favourite tracks of last year or was that the year before?

Have not heard the Ladyhawke one beofre

The PNAU/Ladyhawke single is truly brilliant..... with the right backing, sounds like a massive record to me.

Anyone who has read my chart commentaries will have noticed my respect for The Sleepy Jackson. PNAU have done some good stuff too but I think Empire of the Sun trump them all.
