June 12, 200916 yr Well they are going to keep us in suspense until Sunday now. With so much missing data I'm going to have a day off requests guys, its pointless even asking really. Sales of top 5 increased by between 1k and 2k just yesterday.

Which, given it's not in the missing sales list, Amazon counts for a hell of a lot less than people think it does, especially as 7Digital and physicals will be in that 1-2k too!

June 12, 200916 yr Friday Top 50 Only MISSING DATA: APPLE, WHSMITH, TESCO, NAPSTER, HMVDIGITAL Singles So much for the OCC sorting that glitch, then. :P
June 12, 200916 yr Author Poor Saturdays missed the chart by a whisker :( they could have been top 40 today
June 12, 200916 yr Poor Saturdays missed the chart by a whisker :( they could have been top 40 today They probably would be with the proper data. Anyway, looking forward to Dave Taylor's Almost Satuday chart tonight :cheer:
June 12, 200916 yr i don't think Amazon counts any more cause i read somewhere (can't remember where) that they don't submit the sales from their downloads. Can you confirm that they do RyRy.
June 12, 200916 yr Big drop for Paul Potts in the album chart and i think Kasabian should easily get the 100,000 sales this week
June 12, 200916 yr Author i think Kasabian should easily get the 100,000 sales this week They did nearly 8k for yesterday as I estimated, I reckon they do around 7k to 8k for today, which gives them around 81k, they need to make 19k up from somewhere, so I doubt it, its more likely between 91-94k

June 12, 200916 yr I'm surprised that big companies such as Apple continue to have these problems (unless it is the OCC/MW systems themselves). In this day and age, with computerised technology, this should happen once in a blue moon (understandable as systems do break down from time to time) but not 5 times in 2 weeks. That's just ridiculous and for those of us that do pay MW subscriptions, the part that goes towards the midweeks is not value for money in my eyes.
June 12, 200916 yr Author That's just ridiculous and for those of us that do pay MW subscriptions, the part that goes towards the midweeks is not value for money in my eyes. Don't get me started, ever since we had Miley Cyrus and Shontelle in the chart a top 38 has been posted on the MW database, somehow they got Shontelle sorted but we still have a top 39, its been like it for weeks, as Miley is still listed blinking twice. I think the missing track is Carolina Liar at 40. Ryan can you confirm the #40 in both charts :heehee:

Ryan can you confirm the #40 in charts :heehee: That's relatively easy to fix, I know nothing about databases but according to colleagues at my work who do this would involve a minor change to the workings of the database. Thankfully Miley is about to drop out so we just might have a top 40 next week, although I'm not betting on it as some other blinking track will appear listed twice no doubt. :(
