I'm not so sure if I should be happy or sad about this, lol. Kanye is an asset and all but GaGa seriously doesn't need him. One thing is for sure the tickets will cost an arm and a leg if Kanye is in it, typical Kanye arrogance to charge ridiculously high prices..

This could still be false though, much like the Silly Boy rumour which also originated from the oh-so reliable Perezhilton.com, I saw it on his site earlier and now its spread to all fansites and blogs like wildfire, both are yet to officially confirm it though and it seems a bit too random to be true IMO. .

^ Kanye confirmed it while he was on an american show this morning I think.

Oh and if this is in the UK then I'm definately going but no doubt it'll just be US

Kanye does speak loads of $h!t though and pulled off all sorts of publicity stunts in the past, but since he did attention-grabbingly "confirm" it live then I guess he is one of GaGa's greatest admirers and he could benefit her on future releases etc. So it can't be too bad of a thing even with the obviously to-be high ticket prices. Kanye is a musical genius and so is GaGa, would actually love to hear how they collaborate in future

doubt I'll ever see GaGa live I guess, psh :snif:

I want them to cover collaborations GaGa/Kanye already have with other artists.

Like Paranoid ft/ GaGa (they better release that rihanna version) and Ego ft/ Kanye

:puke2: i dont like the sound of this. gaga is being used in much the same way she was used to sell the PCD's concerts in australia
Why would she stoop this low to tour with this arrogant prick? I can't stand him

Edited by Propilot87

Ew. No. No. No.

GaGa does not need him. :(

Kanye doesnt need GaGa either.Anyway who said they need each other?

they're obviously doing it because they love each others music and want to.

I hate how people are bringing Kanye's big head into this. His ego has no effect on his music or touring whatsoever.

• Kanye West To Tour With Lady Gaga!

Kanye West appeared on ABC’s “The View” Wednesday (June 10) and took the opportunity to announce his forthcoming co-headlining tour with disco queen Lady Gaga. Although he kept the details of the tour light, he spoke excitedly about it. He has said he’s a Gaga fan and recently reworked her hit “Poker Face” into “I Make Her Say,” a collaboration with up-and-coming MC Kid Cudi.

“She’s talented and so incredible that she’s not an opening act,” he said of the tour. “We’re doing it together, with no opening act.”

A rep for West had not provided further details to MTV News at press time, but more information is expected soon. On the show, West also talked about Kris Allen’s unexpected cover of Kanye’s “Heartless” on “American Idol” earlier this year. West confessed that other artists sing the song better than he does.

“Everybody who sings the song, sings better than me,” he joked to the hosts of “The View.” “The Fray are one of my favorite rock bands, they covered it [too]and that song got played on ‘American Idol’ twice.”

West credits his ability to write strong melodies is why artists like Allen and the Fray are able to make his songs work for them.

“I always felt like I made melodies that were [like] country or Broadway melodies.”

Can someone tell me if any dates or round abouts of the dates for this have been announced yet? Thanks.

Loving GaGa's performance of part of Heartless.

Shame they're not coming to the UK. I'm not really a fan of Lady GaGa, but I wouldn't mind seeing her perform, and plus Kanye's amazing to.
if it EVER came to the UK, I would be there in a heart beat. Lady Gaga AND Kanye West. Epic win

GaGa and Kanye for "groundbreaking" tour

Lady Gaga has reportedly revealed her "groundbreaking" ambitions for her upcoming tour alongside Kanye West.

Earlier this year, the pair announced plans for a co-headlining North American jaunt for this autumn. Although dates have yet to be finalised, preparation is said to be well under way for an extravagant live spectacle.

"It's been fun to work on the design of the tour with [West] - we're finishing each other's sentences," GaGa told the BBC.

"I love Kanye. Kanye is my very dear friend and we are creative kindreds. It's going to be one of the most groundbreaking moments in touring history. I am sure of it."

The singer recently confirmed that she will release a new single in the UK on September 21.

LAURIE ANN GIBSON TALKS ABOUT THE NEW TOUR

Laurie Ann Gibson, a choreographer who is working on the upcoming Lady GaGa and Kanye West tour, was interviewed by our friends at Neon Limelight. Read what she said after the jump!

Neon Limelight: So, you worked with Lady GaGa on her tour and she has huge ideas for everything she wants to do. What was it like putting it together with her and how much input did you get from her to put the show together?

Laurie Ann Gibson: When we first started a year and a half ago, we were in the Lower Eastside doing nothing. [We were] getting costumes for ourselves. And I think just the fact that she trusted me so much and trusted my gift - a lot of the time with Puffy and Danity Kane and a lot of other artists, they're fearful of what the music industry will think or what the record label will say. With GaGa she didn't care. I was like "You gotta do this! You gotta try this!" And it was just trust that really produced great work and she's a great songwriter. For her, for someone to come along and interpret her records to that level just made her amazing because she had a deal before me and it didn't work. They didn't understand her record. She played me "Paparazzi" and I was like "Oh yeah! Lets make it like this..." She tells people that she was just crying [because] someone got an interpretation that she could relate to as a songwriter and we just started building the movie based off her records from there.

Neon Limelight: That is incredible!

Laura Ann Dobson: She's going on tour with Kanye and we're really excited about that tour.

Neon Limelight: Oh my gosh, I think everyone is.

Laura Ann Dobson: It's the 'Monster Ballet'. It's going to be amazing.

Neon Limelight: Can you tell me anything about what you're putting together for that? It's gonna be huge!

Laura Ann Dobson: It's going to be tandem, which means it's not going to be one artist going on before the next, so creatively, we're going to take a journey with them together. I think, as far as seeing Kanye, he's a great artist. We're going to push the level where it's just one show, one experience, you know some Broadway. A little bit of that element into it and of course just the art aspect of it, the fashion aspect of it and the technology coming together in one story with the dance and design of it. I think it's going to stand alone to be one of those concerts that you watch forever.

Neon Limelight: Oh gosh, yes! I'm so excited for it already. These are two huge artists. Even though GaGa just came out, she's already huge. People expect things from her. You don't expect to go to her concert and sit there and be bored. She's gonna give you an experience and the same with Kanye!

Laura Ann Dobson: Correct! Yes! We have Vespa cars that come out on stage and the Vespa matches her outfit and matches the wall. It's amazing. We're excited.
