I never slagged them off. I criticised their militant union leader.

He's NOT a "militant" union leader you prat.... He's actually DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED by the union members, and the strike was VOTED for as well..... Which is more than Gordon fukkin' Brown was before he sauntered into No 10, or Mandelson was before that c/unt got a nice Peerage and place in the Cabinet ..... <_<

So, you tell me which is ACTUALLY the more democratic institution - the RMT or the fukkin' NU LABOR party......

No I've read it on DS amongst other places. A retired cop thinks things don't add up in that case. What about the guy who saw 2 girls in the back of a green car much later. Seems his statement just got buried and was never presented to the jury. Where were the bodies found? Very close to an RAF place. I never said he was innocent but some things don't add up. Why would Huntley take the bodies there but strip them naked, as alleged, then put some of them in a bin at the school to incriminate himself. Even I wouldn't do that. There's lot more too.

He admitted that they died in his house. Why would he do that if it wasn't true?

Mind control drugs when he was on remand?

For god sake Chris DNA of the girls was found in Huntley's BATH how do you think they got in there ? did a pigeon from the place the American killers dumped the girls fly through Huntley's window and put their DNA in his bath or something ? did the tooth fairy put it there or Santa Claus ? or the cops fitted him up and let the real killers go free ? get real man the police probably had daughters too would they let guilty people go and just arrest a harmless patsy for the crimes and put their own kids at risk ?

Well I read that no DNA was found anywhere in his house. I'm sure he's guilty too but am prepared to consider other ideas put forward by people too. The police do anything under political pressure too. Never mind. My last comment on it. I'll converse on David Icke's conspiracy forum where at least they have open inquiring minds.

There are a number of recent cases where the evidence as reported in the press has seemed less than overwhelming but where, nevertheless, I am convinced that the right person was convicted. In the Soham case there didn't seem to be any clear evidence to show how Huntley killed one girl without the other screaming blue murder. However, I'm still confident that he is guilty. Similarly, the evidence against Rose West is largely circumstantial but I have no doubt that she is guilty as sin.

I have supported many campaigns where I believe there has been a miscarriage of justice so I'm not someone who thinks the judicial system can never get it wrong. In Huntley's case, I think the system got it right.

It's true that sometimes the police feel under undue pressure to get a conviction. That's how the Guildford Four and the Birmingham Six came to be convicted. To a large extent that is exacerbated by the press who like to get relatives of victims to add to the hysteria. Look at another recent case, the murder of Rhys Jones in Liverpool. His parents remained dignified throughout the investigation. It took longer than most of us would have liked but the parents (who were presumably kept informed by the police) maintained thir dignity throughout, no matter how much pressure they may have been under from the tabloids. When the case finally came to court the evidence was so overwhelming that the jury reached a verdict pretty quickly. If the tabloids had been able to get away with their usual tricks, the same person may have been in court sooner but he could also have been acquitted.
