I think Australia can pull something out of the bag here, and surprise us, Italy don't seem to be on form anymore, they seem to get tired, and if the match goes into extra time, Italy won't last the pace. Australia to win

I reckon Italy will win, after extra time 2-1 ^_^
Australlia will win. I dunno whether it will be in the 90 mins or in extra time or in penalties but i'm fairly confident that Australlia will spring a surprise.

Still 0-0, Italy are down to 10 men, match has gone pretty lame
who should i support now that my team are out? I will give you a hint, not england, Italy or Brazil.

Never has the term "the referee's a w****r" been more appropriate than in this world cup

Graham Poll, that dip$h!t last night who booked 20 players, this cockroach today etc  the standard of refereeing has been pathetic, **** these guys even make Uriah Rennie seem like Pierluigi Collina

Stick Stevie Wonder in referee's gear and give him a guide dog and he will do a better ****ing job than these clowns

The Italians won't get anywhere. They had to dive to beat the Aussies, who no offence to the Aussies, weren't the strongest team left in the competition, its only a shame that they now the the easiest tie on paper for the quarters.

They will have one of the easiest countries to beat in next round Switzerland or Ukraine, Australia were robbed right at the end.

Well i'll be cheering on Switzerland or Ukraine against the Italians :cheer: . I hope the Italians get embarrased badly just like they did in 2002 :cheer: .

agree with most of what you say, but I would add that FIFA picked them, told them how to flash their cards, and allowed them no leeway for common sense, so you reap what you sow. So when Bloater(I mean Blatter) complains about the refs he's a bloody hypocrit

I don't think the penalty was a harsh decision. They had a man sent off for a challenge that was no way worty of a red card. One crucial decision went for the, one against them. Fair do's I say...

And when a player goes to ground in a penalty area atleast 95% of players, from ANY country, will look for a penalty. I think it was one, you can;'t go into a challenge like Lucas Neill did, he';s an idiot!
