As iTunes is based on rolling averages I think it’s safe to say that La Roux significantly outsold Guetta today. I’m thinking Bulletproof will sell over 100k this week. :)

Can you explain more. I was under the impression David sold more in the last 24hours although he had some considerable advantage for the early period being listed at #1 with La Roux outside top10.

I believe the rolling averages are over a period of 48 hours so Saturday sales are still factored into Guetta’s pop bar whereas La Roux’s Saturday sales are effectively 0.

hope LaRoux gets to number 1...I really liked "In for the Kill"....and it'd be pretty awful (in the sense of lost opportunity) if she had her first two hits go number 2

i seriously doubt this tune will outpeak 'If This Is Love' now :(

Looking at those pop bars, La Roux should be #1 by afternoon.

That was said yesterday but it didn't happen. Mid afternoon is likely to see a new #1 IMO.

Yep, apparently the Top 100/300 etc is based on a rolling chart of 48 Hours.

Therefore if La Roux's sales are of a similar proportion on the other music sites which account for the other circa 30% of UK download sales, La Roux WILL be #1 on Sunday.

On the Amazon chart When Love Takes Over is number 9, Bulletproof is 17 but there are 5 free songs in front of Guetta and another 2 in front of La Roux.

on 7Digital and HMV digital David Guetta is number 1 but Bulletproof is not there yet, so I guess the chart is from last week. BTW on 7Digital Freemasons with Sophie were number 3 :kink:

Wow, it's pretty damn close now, wonder when La Roux will manage to take over?
Eurgh I frigging hatet his La Roux song.

Really? And there was me thinkin' INDESTRUCTIBLE would luurrvvee BULLETPROOF. Oh well..
