I've been reading in some Britney sites (as a rumour anyways) that a Circus re-release is being planned for the 4th quarter of 2009 and that Britney's been recording new songs in between the tour concerts in London. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
June 22, 200916 yr Really hope it's not true... We are already on the 4th single, I say just release a 5th single at the most and then be done with this era along with the tour. Take a much needed break, Brit.

June 23, 200916 yr Who knows if they'll re-release the album or not though. I wouldn't doubt this right away considering they might want to keep milking the album for all it's worth. ;) But yeah, I'd rather have one of those ballads too for a 5th single. If they decide to go will Kill the Lights, I will be quite disappointed.

June 30, 200916 yr The only reason I think this is a big possibility is because she is most likely going to take the entire year of 2010 off, except to record and $h!t. She deserves it, she still hasn't had a PEACEFUL year all to her self since before her career started, and now that she is more low key and in a happy relationship along with having 50% custody of her kids, she can finally really enjoy her time off. But with saying that, I bet you anything the next era will be a promo blitz like no other since by then she will have got her performance skills and stage confidence back from the Circus Tour and by then maybe she will be ready to sit down and talk in some primetime interviews. June 30, 200916 yr I don't think you can really say she'll ever have an entirely peaceful year at least in this stage of her life. She's a big celebrity with a big career. And I think her working again seems obviously good for her, therapeutic in a sense. She seems to still be enjoying herself as well. Not saying it looks like we'll get another world tour again next year though. :lol: I doubt we'll get a re-release... seems we've already got enough tracks from this era! But, if they want the album to get back up there in sales, put in a few new tracks, why not?

Apparently there are three possibilities right now: A Circus re-release, a brand new album or a new Greatest Hits including tracks from Blackout and Circus alone plus 6 to 8 new tracks all of them slated to be released in September this year :o Rushed release anyone?

I really hope we dont get a new greatest hits. There isnt enough new material for one. A re-release or new album would be alot better.
