August 20, 200915 yr 30 Seconds To Mars is absolutely class, but I don't expect it to do well in the contest, it will split the voters, there are not many people that like that type of music, not too sure on the others. Return the favour when you can.
August 20, 200915 yr Author 30 Seconds To Mars is absolutely class, but I don't expect it to do well in the contest, it will split the voters, there are not many people that like that type of music, not too sure on the others. Return the favour when you can. That's actually my favourite as well by far. I always get goosebumps in the last 30 seconds, tbh. Will return it right now. :kink:
August 22, 200915 yr Yes, you definitely deserve some comments on your songs from alot of us in here, so I can do it, at least :) I liked "In your arms" the best - it was pleasant, with just a soothing twist of rock, and it might be your best alternative, though, if you wish to choose one of these.. The second best (for me, that is), is Same blue sky, which I also liked :) but the others won't do as good, I think. Even though the Alles Neu was a bit fun :P And yes, foreign languages usually don't do good, aswell as the ballads, or male artists too, actually. We could only hope for a Buzzjack song contest with great diversity in the future, but as of now, the statistics still doesn't lie :(
August 23, 200915 yr Thx, and done. :P Any more comments? Thnx back at ya :P No, I think I've said everything from my side of the river :)
August 23, 200915 yr Author I meant the question for more comments in general, not specifically for you. :P
August 23, 200915 yr I meant the question for more comments in general, not specifically for you. :P oh, ok lol :P
August 24, 200915 yr Author I entered Stanfour feat. Jill - In Your Arms: 6IuCzgVRyuk now. I will blame Freeze if I don't qualify. :P
August 24, 200915 yr That's a pretty good choice Zech! :o I'm curious of your opinion of my entries, if you could please visit... :D
August 26, 200915 yr ooh I like that, at first it sounded a tad bland, until the chorus kicked it, the rest of the track picks up very well as it goes along.
August 26, 200915 yr Author Great, thx. Only positive comments so far, could this really be my first non-DNQ? :w00t:
September 13, 200915 yr Author Zechonia finished in an unbelievable 6th position in their first ever final which is so much better than anything I hoped for (especially after being predicted in the bottom 5 by almost everybody :D). :cheer:
September 15, 200915 yr Author Thx a lot! :P I think I will keep this approach and send some songs out of Germany. :D Some possible choices for XXI: Stefanie Heinzmann - Like A Bullet: knXLvPVzYl0 Stefanie Heinzmann - The Unforgiven: zxv0bQjmd-E Milow - You Don't know (OK, this one isn't german ;)): zdSVO8q5KWo 4LYN - Hello (For You I'm Dying): iRbXHxaK75k 4LYN - Husky: smW8aVmRyVk Husky is my favourite but I realize that it would most likely DNQ. ;) Any opinions/comments are welcome. :)
September 15, 200915 yr Like A Bullet, probably the most BJ friendly track out of all the selections, I quite like it on first listen, some points from me, for sure 5/5 The Unforgiven, pretty average, Like A Bullet kicks ass over this 2/5 Millow, another friendly track which could do very well from the Indie crowd, some points from me for sure 4.5/5 Hello, I like a bit of goth/rock music, this I like but from experience you have to be in the right semi final, I DNQed with Tarja last month for been in the wrong semi, so its got a slim chance of DNQing, in the right semi this will get some points from me as well 4/5 Husky, not as good as Hello, this will definitely DNQ, whatever semi you are in. 1/5, I don't really like it. As a safe bet, you will be better off with Like A Bullet it ticks all the right boxes for me, Millow a close second. To send Goth/Rock music you really have to be in the right semi, otherwise you won't get nowhere, I paid that price. That's why I'm going safe this time with an Indie track. :D
