YES. I hope it continues from where S7 left off rather than a small time jump from the gun shot.

I find this as an average show. I didn't like this show much. As something is missing in the show.

So excited for this! *.* Season 7 started off a bit crap but I really started to enjoy it as it went on. This + True Blood and my summer is MADE.

Can't wait for this!

Season 8 is the last season of Weeds. July still seems so far away.

I'm sad but happy at the same time. I'll really be sorry to see Weeds go, it's a bloody brilliant show, but it's starting to feel like its run its course. They did well to come back from Seasons 4-6 where the shark was well and truly jumped with Season 7. I really hope that they keep that momentum going and send it out on a high as 7 was by far the best non-Agrestic season.

S08E01...not very good. Weeds always takes a couple of episodes to hit its stride though. I think Doug is easily the best character now.

I quite enjoyed it. I loved the hospital scenes. It'll be interesting to see where they go with Nancy..

I really enjoyed the first episode. Totally distraught this is the final run. I too am really interested to see what happens next, especially with the shooter.

 

 

 

Side note, LOVED the new opening credits.

So basically I watched the first episode of season 8 and haven't seen the rest. I found the first episode to be good but it didn't give me the urge to watch more. :( Does it get any better? I might download them in bulk in a few weeks and have a marathon. I want Celia and Demetri to come back. :(

So I caught up. It was a bit crap up until episode 4, then it got a lot better. It's a bit weird that there's only the finale left to go and it's kind of gone back to where it all started.

 

 

Was nice to see Demetri again, and Meagan, Conrad, and basically everybody else in Agrestic (but none of the Hodes :( ) I NEED CELIA IN THE FINALE!

 

I've decided to start this again from the beginning. I've still not managed to finish season 8 yet so it'll be nice to watch it start to finish for the first time.

I might do that as well because I miss this show so much. :( The first season is sublime and it did get progressively worse but the final few episodes were great. Still though,

no Celia Hodes return was heartbreaking.

Finally watching Season 8. I've only ever seen the first episode :lol:

 

This show seems to work better if it's binge watched rather than stand alone episodes.
